“I’m more than awake right now, and slightly buzzed, I saw Keegan before you,” Louis admitted. He knew the time change was gonna hit him soon and he’ll be passed out, but at least it will be in Mikayla’s bed. “I did have fun, my british cousins showed me this music underground scene. It was pretty sweet- and I bought you something,” Louis smiled.

“Of course you did. How is that handsome blonde? Obviously still your favorite.” Mikayla said with a smirk. She had come to appreciate Keegan by necessity, if Louis was a part of her life then Keegan was too. Although he hadn’t exactly warmed up to Mikayla yet. “Nice. This means you can introduce me to some new bands right. My current playlist is getting stale. Aw, baby you know I love gifts. What is it?”

Louis pulled her close kissing her a bit longer before releasing her, he missed being this close to her. It was weird leaving and being tied down, Mikayla gave him a reason to be in L.A, one that his family definitely didn’t give him. “Tremendously huh? We gotta get out here and you can show me how much you miss me,” Louis winked. He shook his head as a response to epiphanies. “I mean I learned that I do not want be a flight attendant, but I feel like I knew that before.”

“I can put a few things on hold to show you. Just promise me that you aren’t too jet lagged to go more than once.” There were a ton of things to worry about but they were quickly slipping her mind in his presence. Their relationship was better than ever and it made moments like these even sweeter. Mikayla shrugged, her arms still wrapped around his chest. “I guess all trips can’t be life changing. Especially with as many as you’ve been on. Did you have fun at least?”

After hanging out with Keegan, Louis had texted Mikayla the heads up that he was coming to see her. Being apart for the few months was weird but they needed the space for Mikayla to figure out her thing and the point was for Louis to figure out his. Although all he did party and get banned from a few places. “Miss me?” He asked smugly sitting on the stool in front of her.

Not that long ago Louis running off to another country or anywhere away from her was bothersome for Mikayla. That changed when they started dating, the primary difference was communication. They talked while he was away and she always knew where Louis had left to. It had become nice to get that space and miss him without the accompaniment of anger. Plus Mikayla’s work was enough distraction at the moment. It was only sleeping alone that made her long for him. “Tremendously.” Mikayla clasped her hands around his neck and gave him a quick kiss. “How was it? Any epiphanies?”

In the past year Mikayla had become floor manager of a specialty bar in a private college hot spot of California. Although the career was exciting and challenging the responsibility level was unfamiliar. “With all the events we have coming up I’m starting to forget what free time means.” She stated while confirming product orders on her cellphone.

You always look really hot in red. Because he slept with a “friend” and if he did that once who says he won’t do it again. No one sleeps with their best friends as a one time thing. And that wasn’t even the friend he is uncomfortably close with, you going to be cool when he fucks Keegan.

Really? Hm, I sort of like this dress. Well I’ll see how the red one looks before I make a decision. Why hold a grudge? We've never technically dated until now and how could I not forgive him when I have slept with other guys.
