It’s a little slice of heaven in the middle of one of the most densely inhabited areas of California. I’d like to think that Lobos itself is the reason so many people have chosen to settle down in the area, though. . On this morning, a wildfire had started about ten miles away around sunrise, and continued through the day, casting smoke and ash over Point Lobos.
