I’ll admit it, I’ve spent my selfish years being just that; selfish. I was prideful, younger, and most of all reckless. I’m no saint nor Christ, but I stand for what I believe in. I’ve tasted the pure bitterness of experience to gain knowledge and wisdom yet I’ve only just begun my journey. There is still so much planning, growing, so much hard work, so much learning, so much doing and living ahead of me. I can simply no longer let my foot off the gas anymore. My dreams are bigger and scarier than ever. I’m going to take every moment as an opportunity to love whole heartedly and not to be taken for granted. I know I will falter, but I will get back up with a vengeance. I will no longer allow fear, complacency, or excuse to hold me back. I will refuse to harbor hate and will use anger as fuel to rise to the occasion. I will smile off my pain, and laugh away my sorrows. I will admit my mistakes and only learn from my failures. The more failures the better, I welcome them with open arms. Attention to detail is the process of my progress. I will sharpen my tongue like I sharpen my blade, sharpen my mind like I sharpen my body. I will become better, stronger, smarter, harder, and undeniable. I will be disciplined. My naked body will only be given to a person worthy of my naked soul. I will live attentive and aware in the present moment. I have no control of yesterday and tomorrow is never promised. I have faith. I have passion. I have gratitude. I have support. I have ME, and that’s all I need. I will give more than I receive. I will lose more rest and sleep, but I will reap the rewards of delayed gratification because it’s worth it. I know what’s meant for me because I am creating it, day by day, brick by brick. I’ve only begun laying down the foundation to the rest of my legacy. You will either love me or hate me, but I will always be me. Keep watching.
