  There were few who had been as jumpy as Aichi during one of his anxiety-riddled periods, but this one seemed to have it ingrained deeper into his natural personality. Driving more reason as to why he needed to be looked out for, made comfortable and settle, especially when there were plenty of characters among the population that might do everything they could to knock him flat.

      Glancing to the other, he answered with a smile. “Aichi. Sendou Aichi; it’s a pleasure to meet you Mikoto-kun. If there’s anything you need, I’d be happy to help. This place is pretty daunting to begin with, huh? There’s good people here though; some that are wild, but there are those that will be good to you”.

What a nice guy! Mikoto was so relieved he managed to meet someone so nice! And so helpful! 

"Th-Thank you, Aichi-kun! I'll take you on that offer when I do need some help!" Which was probably going to be all the time but Mikoto figured he didn't want to scare off this new friend of his. "Yeah, it's really... scary. I'm glad I met you, Aichi-kun!" 

It didn't take him long to turn his attention to the kitchen, looking around in awe, before his gaze moved back to Aichi. "So uh, you mentioned there are others here -- how many? A lot?"

          “…”

Awkwardly trying to shield herself from his gaze, tightly holding onto the paper fan in her petite hands. Not she felt particularly bothered by him, but that’s what she had always been taught. At least he seemed to understand, and she was truly grateful that he wasn’t some pervert, despite the lack of manners he had sown at the beginning.

       ”Yes…” Maybe she was not authentic at all. Sakura always did her best to appear like a proper lady, well, okay, maybe not always, but at least in front of strangers she wanted to act like a true princess. But seeing that she wasn’t exactly used to talking to any other people but her friends and her maids her attitude seemed to be rather stiff. “I resided in Heian-kyō, but then I suddenly found myself in this strange place…”

A princess? Transported through time? It required all of Mikoto's self-control to not freak out right there. This -- This was exactly like in his dating sims! Taken from her time period to the more modern time? Granted, she would have wound up in the main character's home for some reason, but this was as close as he got, wasn't it? Not that he was the main character in this scenario, of course not.

"I... see. That's awful." Play it cool, Mikoto. Play it cool. Turn up the charm. "Well then! Don't worry, dear princess, I'm sure we'll find a way out of here. I will, of course, help you every step of the way. That I promise you."

 If there was one indicator of his embarrassment, it was definitely the blush creeping up his cheeks.

  Well, there were more than two beds in these chambers, so it was probably true that more people were supposed to stay here than just her and Mitsuki. But a man? She was a young maiden, betrothed to a prince, she couldn’t possibly sleep in the same room as another man. Nevertheless she didn’t want to appear too rude, and she feared that turning away from him that harshly already left  a bad first impression. Slender fingers hold onto her fan, slightly hiding her face face behind it before turning to speak to the stranger.

     ”Mikoto-dono.”

"It is fine. Possibly the…. groundskeeper just made a mistake…" She wondered if they could swap rooms with someone else to fix this problem…? "My name is Sakura. Princess Sakura."

Did... did she just call him Mikoto-dono? Mikoto whipped his head towards the girl, actually looking at her right now...

and god, she looked like everything he'd ever imagined a Japanese princess to look like. She looked almost exactly like the ones in manga -- right down to the way she had a fan covering her face. 

C-Cute!

"Yeah, that's probably right!" A nervous laughter, Mikoto fiddling with his bangs. He tried not to glance at her too often, but he couldn't help it right now -- especially when she mentioned she was a Princess. "A princess? A real princess?"

  She had hoped that people would maybe find a way out of this strange place, or maybe that she at least managed to adapt to the situation, but everything seemed so completely foreign to her, it felt like she was stuck in a completely different world. Right now she was playing around with an item called ‘remote’. She had seen Mitsuki using it before, an apparently it was some kind of magic wand used to control that strange music box. But despite mindlessly pressing every button on the object, nothing happened.

       ”Ah, how does this…” In that moment she heard the creak of the door, and expecting to meet Mitsuki again she turned around to greet her, or rather ask her for help. “Ah, Mitsuki-dono, this remote you used….”

        ….. Wait a sec.

This wasn’t Mitsuki. This person was a man. “… Ah!!”

Immediately turning away from the stranger, as if she had been caught doing something improper. How insolent, stepping into a lady’s chamber like that. At least he was apologizing. But apparently he was just lost, so she’d forgive him. “It is…” Not turning around as she spoke, a lady of her status wasn’t supposed to freely show her face to a man after all. “4G. I share these chambers with Mitsuki-dono.”

Yep, he was definitely awkward now. More than awkward. His face was practically burning in embarrassment, pointedly looking away from the girl in the middle of the room. He hadn't even gotten a good look at her -- all he saw was brown hair and what seemed like a dress (but he couldn't really be sure, he only saw her for a split second). 

 "Er, I... was assigned in 4G, too." He gulped, refusing to look at her. Normally, he'd try to lay on the act, but he was far too embarrassed to even think about doing it. "I share one room with my partner, but they haven't shown up yet." 

Chancing his luck, Mikoto turned his head slightly towards her, now seeing that she had turned his back on him. 

"Um... I'm Mikoshiba Mikoto. I-I'm very sorry for walking in on you!"

It had been a pleasant day out of the room. While he had indeed cooped himself up in it earlier, Mikoto had walked around, met a couple people he still wasn't quite sure he completely trusted, but they were good people (he thought). Still, all Mikoto wanted to do was go back in the room, figure out how to play his games, and sleep the fatigue off. It had been a long day. 

When he came back to the room, however, he hadn't expected to see a girl in it. 

"I-I'm so sorry! I must have - must have g-gotten the wrong room!" He yelled, immediately covering his eyes (as if he had seen her changing). He turned his head to the side, blush dominating his face, scanning anywhere in the room but her and --. "Wait, this - isn't this room 4G?" 

Mikoto was absolutely sure that was his poster on the wall beside his bed.

The shock was mutual in such sudden movements; Aichi flinched, resisting the urge to retreat a step, though his ahoge did stand upright for but a split-second, springing back into place once that rush passed.

The demonstration in front of him made it evident that, although he presented himself as completely fine, the redhead wasn’t all he made himself out to be. But then, that just mean he had to try harder to assist in easing him of his anxieties.

Blinking a number of times in quick succession, it was rather astounding how many people would seek out the kitchen as one of their first stop. Apparently the first thing that came to a lot of minds, but then, maybe they hadn’t eaten in some time.         A smile quick to spread onto his face and his head bobbed to the side.

        “Of course; I’ll show you the way. There’s a dining hall beside it if you wanted to use it”. His movements were cautious, not to startle the other again, and started down the route towards their destination, glancing over his shoulder to the arrival.

This guy seemed nice. Not scary, not cold, pretty polite. Seemed younger than him, but Mikoto couldn't be very sure. Whatever the case, Mikoto had relaxed -- relatively. Still not completely, still rather fidgety when the other boy started to walk, but Mikoto liked to think he looked calm when he followed the other to the kitchen. 

"This place is huge..." he muttered, mostly to himself, as he looked around the halls. Mikoto took a glance at the blue-haired boy, and with a mental pep talk, turned to him. "Hey, uh, what's your name? I'm Mikoshiba Mikoto." A nervous smile planted on his face, looking expectantly at the other.

       She liked to consider herself to be excellent at pretending other people didn’t exist. Mitsuki liked to think she had an intimidating aura, but somehow, the way she had bundled into the corner of the most comfortable couch of the Rec Room probably made out otherwise. Maybe she shouldn’t have put herself in such a public situation.

       Either way, she wasn’t exactly comfortable when a stranger seated their behind into the space beside her. 

       ”… You’re too little close.” The Nase’s tone was quietly unnerved. She made an attempt to edge away, but only met with the leather arm of the seating she and her neighbor were seated on.

When he entered the Rec Room, his immediate thought was that he didn't know anyone. None at all. Absolutely zero. Which wasn't really a surprise, considering he was very new in the facility with little time or skill to make friends. 

But he didn't want to be alone. He needed at least one person to keep him from keeling over from embarrassment, someone he could rely on. Not that he was looking for that specifically at this time - Mikoto just needed at least one friend. 

Still, there wasn't many chances to, or those chances he let slip away from his fingers. Mikoto had seated himself next to a dark-haired girl, the redhead stealing glances towards her every now and then, wanting to think of something, anything to say. But she spoke first.

"Ah! S-Sorry!" He quickly scooted over, moving closer to the edge of the couch, practically pressed against the arm of it. She talked to him! Albeit, just told him to move away, but he'll take it. It shouldn't be too hard to talk to her, right? He just had to turn up the charm, like he did back in his school. 

"I'm sorry, My Lady. I should have been more mindful. I'm Mikoshiba Mikoto, by what name shall I call you by?" 

Kill him now.

After all the chaos the day before, he was looking to be anywhere but the rooms; wandering around to stretch his legs and find something of a distraction. Keep himself busy so not to fret over what had transpired so rapidly and try to do whatever was possible for the benefit of as many as possible.

       He hadn’t expected to come across someone looking so lost; a new face? It wasn’t a familiar one, after all. And the question the redhead had posed to himself all but confirmed it. Drawing to a halt nearby, his head craned itself to meet with the back of the other’s head, watching curiously as the quiet panic took hold.

"Excuse me… is everything alright?"

He jumped upon hearing that noise, apparently addressing him. Mikoto looked beside him to see the other male, quickly shuffling away a little out of instinct. Dammit, he scared him, but Mikoto definitely didn't want this guy to know that. Absolutely not. 

"Ah, um, yeah! It's all good here!" His voice was a little too loud, as if he was trying to convince himself of those words. Should he say where he was trying to go? Did he even want to go back to his room now? That would look kinda lame, won't it? Especially considering he's been cooped up in his room all this time. "Er uh, is there a... kitchen here or something?" It was the first thing he thought of.

He honestly had no idea where to even begin. He'd been in the facility less than twenty-four hours, had sat in his room contemplating his life for a good six of those hours, and had ended up wandering around the facility, avoiding making eye contact with anyone unless he was forced to. The fewer people who knew him, the better. 

Where were the others? He hoped he'd see them here -- though, he didn't know if he wanted to subject them here, though. So far, it wasn't that bad, but based on manga, it could get far worse. Really, the best course of action was for him to just stay cooped up in his room and hope he woke up back in his room with his figures and cat.

And then he stopped.

  "...Which way was it back to the room?"

hello hello! i'm kee~ and this here is mikorin! i've been really wanting to play him for a long time now, but never got the time, and now that i do, i look forward to playing him with you all (and i hope you all will love him as much as i do aaaa)!!

it's been a while since i've rped on tumblr tbh, so er i prob won't be as... familiar with it, but i hope to get into it quickly!!
