Jusu just turned one and I can't believe how fast time is flying by! He's the most adorable furball I know and he makes my life so much better. All the puppy craziness was so bad that I never thought I'd be able to say that but here I am saying it now (and meaning it) 💕

From the moment he moved in with us last August, this little dude has happily eaten up every little bit of time I've given him. I had to hit pause on many activities I enjoyed freely before, and my comfortable daily schedule was immediately thrown out the window (puppies are DIFFICULT, guys), but as he grows older, I find myself recovering pieces of myself little by little. He is currently snoozing in our bed next to me and it's just the best of times

I never post photos of myself (or take any, for that matter), but there’s something about this one I like. Maybe it’s the fact that you can barely see my face? Or that the top I’m wearing here (it’s actually a dress though) is one of my favourite pieces of clothing right now? In any case, I promise this is a one-time thing!

I feel a little better about the heartless flower murder I committed yesterday... My heather flowers have settled in nicely and look great!

I had to do something very difficult today. You see, I always have summer flowers on the balcony during the summer months. Today I had to throw them out to make way for some winter flowers I bought (heather flowers). The thing is, while the summer flowers would have been dead in a matter of weeks, they weren’t dead yet! I murdered them! ;__; I’m sorry, flowers. I wish I had taken more photos of you.

I never draw on paper anymore (I think it’s been about five years), not even the tiniest doodles, and I’m so out of practice! I just love how clean, easy, and fast digital art is… The ability to move things around and the godlike power of ctrl + z are just some of the things I can’t live without anymore. However, I was inspired by everyone’s Inktober drawings and wanted to do a little 2-second thing. I think I need to get better pens and an actual sketchbook, although there’s no way I’m going to get these doodles done every day…
