What are your thoughts on Tumblr deleting all adult content on the 17th

It’s pure fucking bullshit, Tumblr has offically lied to all its followers saying the ‘blog nukes’ were a ‘coding issue’, they tricked us with the whole ‘mark your blog as explicit and you are fine’ and can basically now use that as a ‘Select Explicit – Delete All’ hotkey.

They are cowards and would rather just nuke the whole site, even when good people followed the rules, than just do their job and get rid of the content that was actually problematic, like any other halfway decent site with competent people would have done.

Their flagging bot is on a murder spree marking even totally SFW content (golf claps) and their ‘official’ statement on the adult content nuke is riddled with typos proving what a botched, sloppy, and lazy hit job this all is. And I don’t know if other NSFW artists feel this way, but its made me feel sub-human as my ‘creativity’ is not welcome on a supposed site that is creating a ‘positive environment for creativity and expression.’

My thoughts? Pathetic. These people will try to burn us down because they can’t be bothered to do a proper job. Destroy adult content yet they will be googling ‘Hot Lesbian Threesome Giant Dildos’ later this evening.
