“I’ll worry about that once we hear the price rates. Not usually in me to say ‘no’ to things without trying them - unless they’re just plain stupid.”

“I want to say that it’s more of a walk-in class, like pilates or spin class. But I was always more of a private tutor girl, so I could be completely wrong and we’d both end up alone and probably miserable.”

“I was more of the kind of person that never went to either of those things. I had cheerleading to keep me busy back then. But, um, maybe it’s just like spin class, like you said. Probably - and I think that research falls on to you.”

“So you’re saying I’m a judgemental bitch because Chanel?” Noah chuckled a little bit. “Sure, Jan.”

“In my personal experience, that kind of wear means something.” She shrugged, smiling a little. “You’re in no way, shape, or form, Marcia Brady here. Don’t kid yourself.”

“Are there different levels? I’ve never signed up for a class like this before.”

“I’m not sure, myself. Would there be? I know my sisters had different dance levels and graduations for each level that somebody absolutely had to be there for.”

“Ahaha, who said you were?… Just kidding, you were, seriously. Oh like that. I get it, I’m like that too. Okay, Okay. You be creepy and sneak in on me half naked an taking a pic.”

“I wasn’t looking for confirmation, I know I am. Oh, did I give you that big of a shock? C’mon, you had to have seen it coming, I’m literally 5′2′’. That’s a bit too out of my comfort zone. Just send me a shirtless selfie and I’ll be sure to forward it.”

“You didn’t?” Noah said in disbelief, raising his eyebrows. “Aha we are a lot alike, have you noticed.” Noah admitted as he stared at the blonde.

“Not really. You wear labels - you were either going to like me or you weren’t.” Which were the two most popular options, most of the time. “I don’t know. I think I’m prettier,” she teased, sticking out her tongue.

“So there’s absolutely no way I can convince you to join a class with me, then? I might need some back-up.”

“I’m not sure. Do you think we’d be in the same class, though? I’ve been doing this - on my own, of course - for a few years.”

“I’ll keep my mouth shut. You have some plans for the future I hear. And okay, that’s cool. I’ll pose for you sometimes.”

“If anyone asks, though, don’t be afraid to tell them I’m good. And no - no specific plans. I prefer keeping my options open and never going through a long and winding road that leads nowhere good. That totally ruins the whole candid thing of the picture, though. And the whole point is for him to send me some back.”

Noah laughed at the girl. “I just like messing with people, I’m sorry.” He answered her. “I’m so happy you’re wearing sneakers and not heels.”

“I didn’t really see any need to impress you,” she let out, crossing one ankle over the other, pout still firm on her face. “Okay, so, can’t really fault you for that. I like doing the same. Only I prefer it when it’s other people that are being messed with.”

“Yeah actually. You’re cooler than I thought. No offence ya little daredevil.”

“Okay, so just don’t like... turn around and go telling people, okay? I’d rather not build a rep just yet. Or keep surprising guys when I lay a real one on them. And I might need to send my brother a picture of your abs - y'know, when you're next flashing them about.”

“Maybe I don’t have a reason to.” He countered, before turning to move down a side street. “Shortcut.” Spencer stated as a way of explanation. “I don’t think I would have pledged if I hadn’t met Q.” And it probably was the truth. “Do you have someone?”

“I’d say I disagree. I think you seem pretty cool.” She let out another small giggle, following him down the street being more entertainment than she’d been having all day. “Oh. Did he put you up to this trouble, then? It was his idea?” Her head shook from side to side before she glanced back down at her feet, hand squeezing lightly his own. “Not here. And not really - not besides my Big. I’m kinda sucky at making friends, for some reason.” Did that sound pitying enough? She hated that. Her nose scrunched up in thought.

“Damn, girl. Didn’t expect that. At all.

“You thought I was all talk. I hate having gone through the trouble of proving you wrong, but I kind of had to.”

“What do you mean? justinbieber“  Noah chuckled. “Its nothing, Tee. Just messin with ya.” He said smiling.

Tee rolled her eyes, never having being a fan of staying out of the loop, and contemplated digging her heel into his leg to shut him up, even though she doubted her sneakers would do him much harm. “Funny.”

“I don’t think I’m daring you. Am I.”

“Shut up.”

“You have much stronger willpower than I do. I wouldn’t keep up with it if there weren’t any witnesses.”

“Sometimes you gotta do a little to keep yourself in shape before you go crazy. And kickboxing was practical enough that I could do it inside my own room.”

“Is this your regular approach, then? Daring someone to kiss you and prove you wrong?”

“That could be interpreted so wrong.” Noah chuckled. “Keeping you ‘warm’.” He kept on chuckling. “Thanks, Tee.”

Tee felt herself flush, caught off-guard. “What do you mean?” she asked, hating to reveal her ignorance. “No problem, Noah.”
