A little rant regarding Howard’s post

I wonder why Howard isn’t as quick to point out it’s Take That’s musical and not just Gary’s now that everyone is blaming Gary and the show of some fort of deceit. He was quite quick in making that rectification when it suited him and when it wasn’t even necessary. Gary has repeated, throughout the course of the show and during all interviews, that it was a musical featuring Take That’s music, not his own - everybody was aware of that, so why was suddenly Howard so pressed to make the clarification?

Howard seems to forget that this musical wouldn’t have happened without Tim Firth and Tim wouldn’t have written the script without his friendship and work with Gary; the musical also wouldn’t have happened without the casting of LIS, that Gary negotiated with the BBC. The BBC would have never gone through with the show if it weren’t for Gary. Gary was also the one who put the panel together - everyone accepted to be there because of Gary and everyone chose to audition because of Gary’s reputation and credibility. Gary was the one who sat in the judges’ seat for 2 hours each Saturday and taking the insults on social media for everything that the audience found displeasing, not Howard and Mark. Gary was the one who did all the promotional interviews for LIS, not H and M. While I understand some of Howard’s frustration, was it really fair of him to throw Gary under the bus like that and start all the stupid press headlines, when Gary was the one who worked his butt off to make this happen?

Howard forgets he and Mark should be grateful to Gary for all the years when he alone kept the name Take That alive, when everyone else was taking a vacation and resting. If it weren’t for all of Gary’s projects and relations, Take That wouldn’t have had so many opportunities. Take That would have never been invited on the Late Late Show in America if it weren’t for Gary’s friendship with James Corden and his previous work on Finding Neverland and the fact that his carpool karaoke video has gathered over 1 million views on youtube out of the blue.

Maybe Howard should be thinking of all the work Gary has done throughout the years and all the amazing opportunities he created for the band, before making a stupid, useless post that tarnished Gary’s image.

And maybe he should have pointed it was Take That’s tax scandal and not just Gary Barlow’s when all the media was trashing Gary.

Maybe friends don’t pull things like this on other friends.
