What the he*l is this?
Carl grabbed the papers and walked towards the bathroom door. It was quiet inside. As he was about to knock, Dom opened the door. That startled Dom a little.
āOh, youāre still here.ā Dom looked at him. Her makeup was a little runny.Ā
She whipped her check with her wrist as she walked passed him. Carl turned around. āDom! What is this?ā Carl pointed towards the papers he held up high.
āWhatās wha-ā Dom grabbed the documents out of his hands. āNothing. It-itās nothing.ā
Like he*l it is.
āItās a DNA test. Your name is on it. Why?āĀ
āForget about it!āĀ
Right then and there, Officer Winslow walked in. āWhat the-ā He turned towards Dom and Carl. āWho the he*l made this mess!āĀ
Carl pointed towards Dom. She slapped his hand down.Ā
āYou know what forget it. Iāll be in my office.āĀ
Carl looked at those papers in Domās hands. He had a feeling that something wasnāt rightā¦
Time skip!~
It was dinner time in the Winslow household. Carl, Luther, and Dom all sat at the dinner table. Carl was just about done with his meal.
āAlright, well, thank you, Officer Winslow, but I should probably get going nowā¦ Canāt let my girl wait for too long.āĀ
Dom gave him a look when he said that. He noticed. Then he got up and left the dining room.Ā
In the background, he could hear Luther telling his daughter to clean up while he went to his studies.Ā
This is my chance.Ā
Carl snuck up into Domās room. He opened her drawers and looked threw her bookshelves.Ā
I know she keeps her diary somewhere around hereā¦Ā
āAh ha! Found itā¦ā Carl opened her diary.Ā

Dear Diary
I met this weird boy today. Heās white, and yet he acts like heās blackā¦ He had this big fella following him around. He looked like he should have already graduated, but he was pretty quiet. Look, my point is this white guy clearly has the hots for me, and Iām not sure if I like it. I mean, heās somewhat cute, but he isnāt acting properly, and I didnāt like that.
Boring- Carl skipped threw to todayās date-
Good, she already wrote something for today.
Dear Diary
Today I invited Carl in hopes that he would help me pick out an outfit for homecoming. This is my very first, actually, and Iām really excited! However, it sucks though. Carl doesnāt really like me all that much anymore.Ā And Itās all because of that NO GOOD Y/N! Ughh- I hate her! She was always jealous of me! Always trying to steal him away, and his sister, too; god, theyāre both annoying. I just wish theyād disappear so Carl and I could finally be together.
Well, he should be here soonā¦ I just called him- Unfortunately, I had to lie to him. I told him that it was an emergency, I mean It technically was. He knows how much this means to me, and if he even cares, heād show up and help me. I want us to go together and be that power couple. Hopefully, he still cares about me enough to leave Y/nā¦ No, Iām sure of it. I mean, he always comes running to me, after all, lolā¦
Carl shut her diary closeā¦ Dame, do I really? I never really realized that I did thatā¦ I mean, I just wanted them to be okā¦ I never even realized that Dom was this much of a bi*ch. No wonder why Y/n doesnāt really like herā¦Ā
Carl reopened her diary and went back a few pages.
Dear Diary
4:30 pm
Today is the day when I get my DNA test for my babyā¦ Hopefully, itās Carl! My father doesnāt know about this so I must be extra carefulā¦ Iāll be back!
5:15 pm
I WANT TO DIE! DAME IT!Ā
There were tear drop stains on the pagesā¦
How the hell! Iām pregnantā¦ Obviously butā¦ I didnāt drug Carl to be pregnant with my boyfriend's baby- well, ex nowā¦ Jesus WHY! What the he*l am I going to doā¦ I only did it because I want Carl back! When I found out Y/n was pregnant with him, I was so pi*sed I ripped my doll up! God, this is badā¦ I even ended it with my boyfriend for thisā¦ You know what? Screw it! Iāll just lie! I meanā¦ I know Carlā¦ After a few months with him, Iām sure heāll fall in love with me again and leave that good-for-nothing behind.
By that point, Carl had stopped reading. His eyes leaked, but he wasnāt upset. He felt relieved. Then the door opened. Carl looked up to see Dom. She saw him holding her Diary, and she was shocked.Ā
āItās not mine, is itā¦?ā Carl muttered in a somewhat scary tone.
Dom just stood there and started crying. āCarl, I-ā
āYou almost cost me my relationship with my girlfriendā¦ All because you wanted to be selfish?ā
āCarl, no- itās just-ā
āItās just what?ā
āI-I love youā¦ā
āNo, you donāt. You just couldnāt stand not being the center of everyoneās worlds. I canāt believe youā¦āĀ
āWell, wha-what are you gonna do about it?ā Dom looked at him. Her hands were crossed as she hoped he wouldnāt do what she thought he was about to do.
āIām going to tell everyone. Obviously.ā Carl looked at her. He wasnāt even all that mad. He was kind of just over it.Ā

***Narratorās Pov***
After Carl told Officer Winslow about what Dom had done, he took everything away from her. Her phone and her laptop. He ended up grounding her. He told her that she did something that was worth arresting her for, so he locked her up in her room for who knows how longātelling her that she broke his trust and that she needed to build it all back up again by first writing an apology letter to Carl and his family and most importantly to Carlās girlfriend, Y/n and her family.Ā
She cried the whole time, but eventually, she did write it all.Ā
After that, Y/n obviously forgave her, which pis*ed Debbie off. She didnāt want to let her go so easily, so she mailed the paper that had that picture of her raping Carl to Officer Winslow, and let's just say they never heard from her again.Ā
In the end, Carlās family was somewhat relieved. Fiona was just glad that he didnāt impregnate two people. In fact, she was glad that it was just Y/n. She, at least, was nice and honest. Meanwhile, lip and Ian still made fun of him for doing so, but all in all, everything turned out ok.Ā
When Y/nās parents heard the news, they were thrilled to hear that their relationship wasnāt entirely broken. Of course, Y/nās mom was still somewhat mad at Carl, but she forgave him. Y/nās family even threw both Debbie and Y/n an unexpected baby shower.Ā
Of course, school eventually came around. Y/n was still picked and prodded about how she was pregnant, but it cooled down tremendously since almost every girl ended up getting pregnant, too, by the time the third semester came. However, the main reason why most people wouldnāt pick on her anymore was because of Debbie with her status and Carl with his. Of course, this time, Carl never left Y/nās side.
And if anyone cared, Domās ex-boyfriend and his family eventually found out about everything. To how she was pregnant with his kid and what she did with Carlā¦ Letās just say that Dom wonāt be having a baby daddy for a long time.Ā

I hope the ending was at least a little satisfying. I really did try with this, so thanks to the people who followed and read along with me as I wrote the chapter down.

The woman who crashes outside the homestead has bright red hair, dislocated limbs, and a bizzare weapon that ignites into a red blade. Sheās wearing a lotĀ of leather for someone in the desert, and that alone makes Aunt Beru cluck her tongue. When she wakes up, or mostly wakes up, she introduces herself as Mara Jade. When Luke greets her as Mara, he gets a dark glare that makes him think she hadnāt meant to introduce herself with her real name.Ā
Sheās hesitant, a little bit grateful, and wary, but she doesnāt seem to mind Luke asking her questions about space and travel. He doesnāt mention her weird weapon or her beauty or the fact that she walked and moved like a criminal or spy. She only stays for a few days before hitching a ride off-world. Luke, waving goodbye from the homestead, fells a bitter jealousy and sudden hatred for the farm.Ā
He stays though, they canāt afford to send him off world for more schooling, they canāt afford to have him leave, and they need him. So Luke stays on Tatooine, even as his friends begin to leave. Even when Biggs dies with the rebellion.Ā
Mara slinks back a few months later, wary and ready to bolt, but bringing presents. Medical supplies, to replace the supplies used on her, and money. For Luke, after Owen and Beru go to bed and the two teenagers are left in the garage, itās books. Technical manuals for ships heās never heard of and novels that he wants to read. It means more to him than Mara knows. Luke wants to learn, he wants to explore, and he wants to leave, but he has his family to take care of and help.Ā
Sheās brilliant, beautiful, and feral. She reminds Luke of the snakes that lurk in the softer sand, ready to bite anyone who annoys them. She learns slowly, that not everyone has an ulterior motive. She learns that the Empire is not all-wonderful. She learns that not every touch is painful or agonizing, and by the fifth time she visit, Mara lets Luke give her a hug.Ā
She tells Luke about the worlds sheās visiting, bringing more books, textbooks and poetry, and the odd machine part. Every time she returns, Luke thinks she expects him to have vanished or have been replaced. Luke canāt believe that such a rich and beautiful woman would keep returning to the homestead in Tatooine, and she canāt seem to believe that he wonāt lose his temper if she break something by accident. (He knows Uncle Owen has a bit of a temper, and as much as Luke loves him, Luke tries to be better than Uncle Owen. The older man was learning though.)Ā
Luke knows what people look like when theyāre running, and he knows that for all of Maraās privileges, money, and skills; that she is lonely and monitored. The Larsā collectively agree to wait patiently for Mara to realize this. (Luke will learn about Inquisitors, Emperorās Hands, and the Sith and the Jedi, and he will be very, very, very, angry.)Ā They hunt womp rats together, fly Beggarās Canyon, and they go into Anchorhead to hang out with Lukeās friends who. She out drinks all of them, and still wins the fistfight that breaks out.Ā
He decides that he loves her. And then one day she comes to the homestead, face drawn and eyes burning with tears, and tell him that her grandfather is dead and her life is gone. Aunt Beru invites her to stay, and Mara is torn between grief and revenge. As strong as she is, she thinks she is still incapable. Luke never think this, and wonders why anyone else does. He concludes, rightly, that theyād convinced her of this on purpose. He doesnāt ask the specifics, just as Mara doesnāt ask him why he is sometimes injured and missing for days on ends. His own slave smuggling jobs keep him busy.Ā
She tells him that she wants to find a job, and despite the fact that he wants her to stay, he tells her that itās an excellent idea. Mara needs confidence in herself and her abilities, and she returned each time, triumphant and bearing presents. By the time Luke is 23, he has rocks from Naboo, light crystals from Illum, a desert plant from Florrum, blasters from Corellia, and fabric from Alderaan. He doesnāt know what to do with the fabric, so he gives it to Aunt Beru. He has a homegrown education. Heās helped escaped slaves. Heās never left his homeworld. His dreams are tucked away still, all except one.Ā
Luke doesnāt pay much attention to the galaxy, the farm keeps him busy, but he watches as much as possible, as the Empire changes. His friends sacrifice wasnāt in vain. He sometimes wonder what would have happened if heād left too, to fight the Empire.Ā
By this time, heās learned how to judge when sheād return. His instincts are good, they always have been, she returns that evening on the tricked-out swoop. Dismouning and pulling off her helmet, Mara stared at him. Lukeās heart jumped into his throat as he set his cup of milk to the side.Ā
āYouāre here.ā
āWaiting for you,ā Luke says, standing up and waiting for her to approach. Sheās hesitant as she was six years ago, treating everyone as an enemy and a threat.
āYouāre always waiting,ā Mara observes, and Luke nods. She moves closer and they stare at each other, already having come to the right conclusions.Ā āSmall wedding please, donāt let anyone go overboard.āĀ
āOf course,ā Luke agrees.Ā
Aunt Beru had used to the Alderaan fabrics to make him his first set of clothes as a married man. The sash around his waist, cinched properly with a thread of cord in itās center, and the outer robes like those of the other married men in the area. Luke blushes, not at all surprised by his aunts forethought. She makes Mara a near matching outfit, foregoing the usual skirt to tailor her a pair of pants that she knew Mara would prefer. Tatooine wedding clothes are not ridiculous getup with lace and billowing skirts, but clothes that represent their future together. Theyāre clothes made to last, to work in, to bleed in. Luke carves Mara a necklace of jappor and Mara presents him with a ring made of rings of durasteel, meteor, and specially carved diamond.
A week after theyāre married, Ben Kenobi returns to Tatooine, a dark stranger following on his heels.Ā
