“I like it when people make me a little uncomfortable and make me think “holy shit, I cant believe what I’m hearing.” The same people who want to crucify MSI for the lyrics in “Panty Shot” probably laughed their asses off during Borat and probably sing out loud to “Last Caress” by The Misfits. “I got something to say, I killed your baby today and it doesnt matter much to me as long as its dead/I got something to say, I raped your mother today and it doesnt matter much to me as long as she’s spread…” That’s a classic song. The entire point of “Panty Shot” is to force people to examine the fact that somehow they think things like the racism in Borat or the extreme violence in “Last Caress” is acceptable. Why can you laugh at racism and sing along to killing a baby and raping someone’s mother but get offended by a song written from the perspective of a pedophile? Its interesting where people draw lines for themselves. I do it too. Everyone does. Funny that I’m totally ok with all things MSI but offended by watching most hip-hop videos. Urine – Yeah, it comes out April 20th, and we are going to be playing a record release party over at the Virgin Megastore. It’s going down at 7:30. The first 100 people to buy the CD get a free Video!

KJ – Yeah, we didn’t have those…but speaking of “Microphone Fiend”, I have a question regarding that song. Did it inspire your song, “I Grab The Mic”?
Urine – Not really…overall I like a lot of rap stuff
KJ – Well, both songs have similar lines

KJ – Yeah, your song goes “When I was so small they tried to take it,” and Rakim’s words are, “I grab the mic and try to say ‘yes ya’ll,’ but then they take it and say that I was too small.”
