Hi there!

My name is Kai, my pronouns are they/them, I'm sort of an artist and writer (if you wanna call me that).

I'm genuinely barely posting here (or anywhere really) but I do wanna try it, I just really suck at consistency.

I also suck immensely at interacting with people so no, it's not you, it's me.

Idk exactly what I really wanna post, mostly art stuff and maybe some writing now and then? I don't want to limit myself though, so it'll be a surprise for all of us.

I had a sort of crown with a veil idea in my head but it turned into a sketch of Macaque

Art block and burn out are pulling my hair.

Nonetheless I've been having some interesting ideas for both Macaques (yes they're my favorite) design and powers.

Most of the power ideas are the powers from the show but with more limits.

I've also thought about the fact that I have never seen people make Macaques ears reflect their emotions.

As soon as I get enough motivation (and I actually draw a body that looks halfway decent) I'll surely try these things out.

There once was a prophecy.. one that foretold the creation of a new guardian of the moon, a child born on the night of a full moon.. a child who will hold the power of the stars.

In the Jade Empire, a celestial family were awaiting the arrival of their unborn son. The family and many others believed that their child will be the one to fulfill the prophecy. Even one of the four celestial primates came to bless the unborn child, that being was The Long Armed Gibbon (Tongbi yuanhou).

The Family were anticipating the birth of the child, who was meant to be born on the night of the new moon, however.. the son was born a day too early. The child was born on the eve of the new moon, which disrupted the process of the prophecy entirely. When the new moon arrived, only a few hours after the birth of the child.. his magic started to pool out of him. Which in turn created an entirely new being, made up of pure magic and star dust—This was the creation of Lingxiao.
