Headcanons: Trust, family, child, pure/purity

Trust

Link is very trusting of others - once he gets to know them. At first glance, he’ll be very wary of you because there’s no knowing if you’re friend or foe. Give him a few minutes of your time and he’ll warm up to you. You’ll be buddies in no time. I mean hey, he let some kid make a shop out of his own home with barely any qualms about it!

Family

Link’s only family is the blacksmiths who he loves very, very much. Gulley is like a little brother to him while the mister and missus are his parents. Expect him to refer to them as such when asked about. 

Child

Link wouldn’t mind raising a child or two with the right person. Given that he prefers boys, though… adoption would have to be his only route. 

Pure/purity

Link tends to see the world in nothing but black and white with no gray in between. You’re either good or bad in his eyes, pure or impure. He wouldn’t be able to understand the concept of an anti-hero if he tried.
