Ladies, gentlemen, bots: we may have a winner!
The packaging of MiGoals Goal Digger planner looked very nice. My hopes partly dashed at part one on the basis of bad grammar.
Passion planner. I actually really gave it a try and got really annoyed and thought āwhy do people call it FP friendly?ā But on actual test as above, not that bad. I think mostly because with my two most common daily writers (Visconti HS as above), it does feather immediately, if not much. The feel of the paper also isnāt wonderful to me. Finally, while I do like electronic mind maps, Iām not a fan of paper ones so not a perfect fit for me.
Rote runner Purpose planner. Paper slightly second to Clever fox (more ghosting but close), and I actually prefer the tone of this one. Lots of good stuff meeting my requirements but in very very tiny boxes.
Clever Fox Pro. Annoyingly, one of the best papers Iāve found in this category. Because design is not my cup of tea. The format works for me (big). It does have most of the areas Iām looking for. Their fonts are just a bit too big and overall designed not subdued enough to really be my cup of tea. That said, if I canāt find better, Iāll probably end up trying it for a period as so far it is in fact closest to some of my requirements, in particular having paper that does not suck.
Full focus planner like the concept and design. The paper SUCKS. My issue isnāt so much with feathering here though... see back of page. Everything with tons of show through and bleed through. š¢
Reasons I donāt (unfortunately) like Ink+Volt: - the paper in their planner sucks according to my criteria ( @wellappointeddeskĀ ās review was spot on) - the pads are very nice, but the paper is even worse, and I donāt like having separate sheets (criterion #7)
The quest begins. Is it asking for too much? All input welcome. Iām just looking for something for my particular requirements, hence all opinions are about my personal preferences only.
