Okay so..“Saja” (사자) in korean means “Lion”

Hence the logo used by Saja Boys is a big cat (lion).

Therefore their names:

JINU (지누) (TRUE LION)

(Jin-u or Jin-woo, where Jin means “true/genuine” and u/woo means “friend/companion. Therefore, one interpretation of Jinu can be “Genuine Companion”)

MYSTERY SAJA (MYSTERY LION)

ROMANCE SAJA (ROMANTIC LION)

ABS SAJA aka “ABBY” (ABS LION)

BABY SAJA (BABY LION)

So like..they're like describing themselves as Lions with different core attributes that define their character— mystery, romance, etc.

I’m in no way an expert in Korean, and I know this doesn’t necessarily align with Jinu cause he has a proper name but anyways..i’m sticking with this thought..

I physically cannot explain how HARD it was to not scream the entire time!!!

but also, did anyone else think that these funky lil guys were somewhat representing Jinu’s personality? especially the funky lil bird

I'm so excited for this movie. I love me some new Netflix animated movies. Def helps that some of the spiderverse crew is working on it.

No, but Rumi being related to demons or one herself makes so much sense.

Thanks to this piece of concept art by Scott Watanabe, we can see that Rumi is the only member of Huntr/x with markings on her skin. Markings just like the ones the Saja Boys have!

So if our theories are true, that would also explain why Rumi seems to be such a workaholic perfectionist—so she doesn't slip up and let her true heritage show. And if you think about it, Rumi's never shown with her arms exposed, unlike Mira and Zoey.

Maybe that's what draws Jinu towards her, or why she seems to be able to communicate with his tiger and crow no problem. Maybe Rumi's arc is about accepting and embracing that part of her rather than trying to hide it.

(Maybe that's even why she has purple hair, who knows?)
