will giggle as he sends you this. feet in the air and everything. sends it during a serious conversation or something similar to that and just starts laughing because you tell him to take it seriously but he knows you're laughing.

JAY (this line started this whole post)

"madeline? more like mademine"

café date where you look at madelines and gush over how they look well made and you'll like to take some home. this dude just says this unprovoked trying to be smooth but you just roll your eyes at his antics.

JAKE

"if you were a fruit, you'd be a fine-apple"

trust Jake to attempt to woo you. says that he needs to do so to remind you how much he still likes you but he low-key uses you to test his jokes so he can run to Jay and tell him to use them on someone else since you've approved of them.

SUNGHOON

"i hope you know cpr, because you just took my breath away!"

says this at a blind date trying to ease the tension but fails. wanted to make himself less nervous but you didn't know whether to laugh at the joke or give him a compliment so you resorted to a simple, 'thank you'. was embarrassed afterwards and then at the end of the date you told him he looked rather handsome. went home with a smile on his face.

SUNOO

"are you sure you're not tired? you've been running through my mind all day"

asked Heeseung for advice because he knew he couldn't trust Sunghoon to give him solid advice on how to wiggle his way into your heart. did it work on you? partly. you were flustered, yes but you said something about how you still had a lot of energy left in you and how you're not running through his mind enough. sunoo was so confused.

JUNGWON

"if you were words on a paper, you'd be fine print"

worst line to use but everyone makes mistakes. some are just...more terrible than others. like this because what is this pick up line? he wanted to say something cheesy to get your attention while you were reading but you just showed him that you were indeed reading the fine print book and he just walked away.

RIKI

"did the sun come out, or did you just smile at me?"

says this at the wrong time. practiced this all night and forgot to check the weather. only for him to say it indoors not knowing that it's raining outside. you tap his shoulder with a small smile on your face and tell him to look outside then meet you later. once he does, the smile drops off his face.

haechan looks at the fluttering of your eyelids as you lay your head on his shoulder. smiling to himself, he's glad he gets to observe you like this. soon after, you stir and wake up with a yawn.

"how long was out for?" you ask and he shrugs. "thirty minutes, guess. i don't know. go back to sleep," he says and you get back to sleeping. sighing pitifully to himself, haechan knows he only has moments like these with you; where he doesn't have to be the best friend haechan but the haechan that has a crush on you.

i genuinely think jeno would offer his shoes to you in the middle of your walk if yours were uncomfortable. one hand holding your shoes and the other holding your hand as you both hurry back to your apartment.

jay would describe you as reckless. you constantly got on his nerves and managed to find anway to drive him up a wall. one thing that annoyed him the most was your big mouth- you never seemed to shut up and you'd babble on about things most people were obvilious to.

but, he never managed to just ignore you. if a room was crowded, the first person he'd look for would be you. even if you were often careless, loud and managed to make him worry for your safety more times than you should, he still never ignored you.

even in this moment; as he tended to your bruises, his mouth turned down and his eyebrows pulled together in concentration, he still couldn't ignore you. "I'm sorry," you whispered, as you feared his response this time.

he sighed loudly and carefully placed the dinosaur bandage that he had kept stowed away for moments like these on your wound. "just stick by me next time and try not to fall down easily," he said and you nodded.

"It's not my fault though," you voiced out and he raised his head to look at you. with a raised brow directed at you, you gulped at the intensity of his gaze and looked away. "it was that dude that pushed me into the rosebush," you mumbled.

"you wouldn't have falled if you had just let me take pictures of you like I offered rather than walking to look at a bush,"

as you came down from your position on the counter, you wrapped your hands around his torso and talked into his chest. "sorry that you had to take care of me...again. I'll make it up to you," you told him and his hands went up to ruffle your hair.

"that's okay," he reassured and you smiled into his chest. "you can make it up like this," he said and raised your head slightly to look at him before he pressed a kiss to your forehead.

You had brought up a flaw of his that you didn't like and his first form of defense was to pick a fight with you. Although some of the things he said were hurtful, you tried to level the situation. "I'm letting you know this because I love you and I want the best for you." Safe to say he apologized with a hug.

JONGSEONG: Jay says it first. Honestly, he'd be the type of person to think for hours about how he'd tell you and would even think of planning a surprise for you but ends up failing and saying it unintentionally. Maybe you helped him with something and he just goes, "This is probably another reason why I love you." Says it very non-chalantly and doesn't even realise he said it until you point it out. Definitely overthinks about it for a while.

JAKE: Says it first without a doubt! He probably thinks it through and waits for the perfect time to tell you until he realises that there really is no perfect time when it comes to people that you love. When he gets that, he lets you know immediately. You were probably brushing your teeth when he bursted in and went, "I love you."

SUNGHOON: This punk will want you to say it first. Not because of pride or anything but i genuinely think he'd want the stability to come from you so he'll know that you love him. When you do tell him, there's no doubt that he won't say it back. In fact, he'll say it almost all the time to himself but really you hear him. "I love you." he whispers and there's a slight hint of pink on his cheeks.

SUNOO: Says it first hands down. Sunoo is such a loving person that he wouldn't even need to say it before you knew that he loved you. More of an actions-speak-louder-than-words type of guy and that's okay. You probably took him to a café as a treat and you're taking pictures of him and he just chuckles when you tell him to hurry up so you can get eating. "You look so loveable, I love you."

JUNGWON: Jungwon values stability and he'd want to feel secure in a relationship before he confessed that he loves you. When he does confess, there's no doubt that he truly loves you because he says it so convincingly that you have to believe him. "I am in love with you."
