"A man speaks a good word without knowing its worth, Allah records for him His Good Pleasure till the day he meets Him; and a man utters an evil word without realising its importance, Allah records for him His displeasure till the day he meets Him."

how much do I have to wait for you to find me?

A blessing may come to you simply because you wished it for someone else.

Allah has made eyes the mirror of the heart. So if the slave lowers his gaze, his heart lowers his desires. And if he lets his gaze loose, his heart lets his desires loose.

Umar رضي الله عنه narrated:

The Prophet ﷺ said,

"The one who remembers Allah (does dhikr) in Ramadan will be forgiven,

and the one who asks Allah in (Ramadan) will not be at a loss/disappointed"

[Al Mu’jamul Awsat, Hadith: 6166]

Some people are a part of your life to help you grow, or even teach you things. But what we need to understand is that not everyone is meant to stay, some will fulfil their purpose in your life and they will go.

And it's not necessary that they are in your life to help you, but instead you have a purpose in their life.

you will find peace in the person Allah has written for you

No amount of physical beauty will ever be as valuable as a beautiful heart.

Don’t let the hardship that was sent to soften your heart, harden it.

[minqalbi]

If a man genuinely really loves you, he will show you. He will show it through his actions, through his words, through the way he treats you. There won't be any doubts, you will know. And nor will he hurt you either because if he does, he'll end up getting hurt too. So ladies, please realise your worth. If he's treating you wrong, if he's hurting you in any way, he does not love you.

And so I pray for you. Whenever this heart of mine misses you, I pray for you. Because that's all I can do.

A man said to Hasan al-Basri رحمه الله:

"I am complaining to you of the hardness of my heart.

He رحمه الله said:

"Soften it with dhikr. The more forgetful the heart is, the harder it becomes. But if a person remembers Allah, the hardness softens as copper melts in the fire."

How to deal with pain:

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

“(The pain) of what has passed cannot be removed by grieving over it, but only through:

1. Acceptance (i.e. being pleased with Allah's Decree) (al-Ridhaa)

2. Gratitude (al-Hamd)

3. Patience (al-Sabr),

4. Faith in Predestination (al-Imaan bil-Qadr)

5. and the saying of the slave: "It is the decree of Allah and what He Wills He Does (قدَّرَ اللهُ وما شاءَ فعلْ)” [Qadr Allahu wa masha fa'al]
