Starswirl gave a courtly bow back, before quickly rising. ❝ The simple Greek translation is melonomy, funny as that sounds, but indeed so am I. Pleasure to meet a kindred spirit, learned in the same fields. This is true, I am a teacher, and have taught many young unicorns the secrets of magic that I have discovered over the years. ❞

The mare smiled, saying, “Oh, I’m nowhere near as young as I look, but I like to think one never really stops being a student.  Wouldn’t you agree?”

        With a sly smirk making it’s way across his visage, the wizard pulled his hat downward ever so slightly, encouraged to play along until the young one discovered the truth.❝ I suppose so. You must really know your history, child. I must say, I’m impressed! ❞

The guardian of time, has given to his fate. A fate so dark, it was cast away as whispers in the dark. A beacon of hope he was, for he was not like the Doctor. Courageous and fearless he was, even at his final fate. Died he did, by giving final time. Of fate worse he met, as someone chopped off his head. Regeneration is no more, once a head is severed from body. Goodbye we say, to the great guardian of time.

The Doctor ran out to her friend's side, hoping to find some way to fix things, but it was too late.  The damage was done.  She could barely process it.  It all happened so fast.  One moment Dave was alive and fighting, the next he was dead on the battlefield.  With no options left, the Doctor charged at Dave's killer in a blind rage.
