Thank you, it made me really think about it and maybe I'll my thoughts.
The Atreus and Link in a crossover, it was something I deeply try to put a lot of thought over. One kid (Atreus) feeling alone and manages to find a friend (Link in the crossover 'L') who is processing trauma.
The crossover partly is Atreus trying to understand and gain Link's trust. Link trying not to be close to prevent getting hurt again.
Leaning to the question of trust with Gods or Goddesses. Since in Hyrule the goddesses are mostly trusted and facing with cruel gods.
Perhaps Kratos having to teach a strange orphan child how to trust adults, parents as where Link comes from, parents and adults were unreliable at one point.
Then over time Atreus and Link did grow up together and more like a fighting duo. Two wolves ya know
Maybe more mystery as Link would still be mysterious, yet only Atreus knows who the Hero Shade was.
I thought about making them a lot. Maybe make Link a woman to ship them as it continues to Twilight Princess, Twilight Link being a child of Atreus. Wolf family.
Thought about Ganondorf vs Kratos somewhere
But ... I guess not for reasons as I felt like people weren't really interested as I hoped. Maybe in the future I will see but overall I still love the two being wholesome to each other.

Finished watching the Mega Man X timeline. I can understand why my friends are grounding me into the corner.
