Ah, yes this boy... As you can see Amethio's obviously a closed off person who's really busy, so you're not spending a week seeing this guy in the same place. He could be in Paldea, and then he randomly flys off to let his Ceruledge fight fucking rayquaza (spoilers.)
Jokes aside his love language is probably quality time, because just being there for him is enough. Amethio doesn't ask for much, and doesn't expect to be given something. He just wants you to be there. (also because spending time with you is like ingame shiny odds, so he thinks seeing you is enough to make him feel better.

Amethio is very protective over you, even if he doesn't show it. He really cares about you, and will try his best to insure your safety before his.
He's really cold not just personality wise, but if you touch his hand he's REALLY COLD. Amethio doesn't like cuddling though, you might get away with it once in a while.
Other than being cold Amethio is really strict and serious, of course this includes your relationship with him, Amethio is always careful with his words incase he messes up and says something that offends you. So he expects you to do the same
If Amethio ever did say something bad, know that he doesn't really mean it. Amethio is new to all of this and just can't express his feelings properly...

I don't know how you got together with him, but I think he would confess not in a lovey dovey way of confessing, but like straightforward. Let me picture it for you. (he may sound cool, but Amethio was probably sweating and shivering secretly bro.)

Amethio doesn't like public displays of affection, at all. Infact he despises it. Amethio gets irritated when those annoying couples are blocking his way, but he may let you hold his hand on special occasions.
Yes these special occasions are very rare, but the rarest one is when he actually starts being a little affectionate and actually initiating something.

If you're a Pokémon trainer he'd probably battle you often, if you're a RVT member he always ignores you when the Explorers start attacking them he never once hit you, if you're an Explorers admin you guys would have some sort of rivalry. Even if you're any of those there's always one thing that won't change (sorta)
He will ALWAYS have a soft spot for you it may sound cheesy and it is, but hes subtle about it. You can see the changes of his behavior when you're around.
Like trying to look more professional, softening his gaze, glancing at you from time-to-time when no one is watching.

Spinel
Rivals - Spinel was so annoyed when he almost got the pendant by manipulating Liko with his Pokemon then you appear and start acting loke superman, breaking Liko from the hyonosis was his last straw where he just started spamming moves on you and your pokemon. He didn't even care about Liko at this point he was just doing this because he's petty.
Softening up - Spinel stopped hating you which is good, but did you stop hating Spinel? We don't know, he started becoming less mean and snarky to you, always tells his Pokémon to hit the other RVT members. Even his Umbreon started liking you
Liking you - He was shocked himself, like how would he the most greatest and best person in the Explorers fall inlove with a weakling like you who is part of that annoying brats group but it happened so...
Lovers - Spinel becomes a total different person no forced snarky look, but he's smug about it. Like when you start scolding him for attacking Liko he's like "You wanna kiss me so bad it's funny"
Amethio
Rivals - Amethio is a different stories he also hated your guts, but he never hid the fact that he did. Amethio was bold and made it CRYSTAL CLEAR that he hated you more than you hated him. To him you're just another nuisance to him from his success, especially from that pendant.
He secretly becomes more competitive like purposely aiming at you in a battle with Friede
Softening up - nothing noticeable really changed about Amethio he is still cold dull Amethio. What did change a little is his gaze this may sound cheesy, but his gaze becomes softer when you're around, like when he's stalking the airship and randomly finds you walking alone with your pokemon his gaze can't help but soften. Until Konia and Zir said "Boss you alright?" He starts acting professional again.
Liking you - He knew it, but he would never admit it. Amethio is stubborn and thinks things like that are unimportant, so he put his feelings aside and just treated you like a normal Explorers member. It failed after 6 months, but he still didn't have the boldness to do that. You confessed first.
Lovers - Amethio is still quiet and closed nothing changes, nobody noticed anything your top excuses to go walk with him is "I'm gonna go adventure for a while" . In private he's less cold, and treats you like an actual partner instead of just being "A RVT MEMBER" he's not a fan of PDA like Spinel, maybe someday he will be comfortable with that. Amethio is a busy bee, and his old rival being his lover is one of the things he can't process yet.

You were apart of the rising volt tacklers before she joined to start her journey, Liko was all giddy and surprised after you guys saved her from The Explorers.
Now knowing that you were going to see her everyday in her journey, Liko tries to be super professional to make you proud.
When Liko saw you battle for the first time that inspired her, now when you see her battle her tactics are really similair to yours.
Even Friede pointed it out, all you can do is cheer and have a smug grin like "That's my little sister right there"
Other than her Journal she probably opens up to you about many of her problems like the pendant, the explorer people, being a trainer in general.

Liko is really shy, because she just wants to make you proud if you do fight and offer to have a battle with your sweet little sister she'll practice for hours with sprigatito.
She may not win but what she really enjoyed was bonding with you.
Speaking of bonding, before Dot revealed that she was Nidothing Liko probably bonded with you by watching Nidothing together no matter what time it is it could probably be midnight and she'll watch her with you.
Friede woke up in the middle of the night because he craved something sweet... He was going to the kitchen until he heard a noise from Likos room
It was Liko laughing while some sort of video was playing on her phone, he got concerned that she was awake this late and opened the door.

Both Liko and you screamed when he randomly just opened the door

The word love seems so out of character for him, but I promsie this boy has love in his heart. Because for him what's the point of loving someone if you don't accept them for who they are.
There are times though where he gets super annoyed and just lashes out (yells) he doesn't mean it though and always tries to aplogize (in a cool way like yk those cold apologies that are also not cold where the person just looks at you with some emotionless face and then you guys stare into the sky while they start saying the shenanigans and the apology)
Amethio gets secretly embarrassed when you use nicknames he's fine with you grabbing his left arm when he's doing something, BUT CALLING HIM THIO INFRONT OF THE EXPLORER ADMINS IS A NO especially if it's Sango he'd 1v1 god to not be called that infront of HER.
Another out of character thing I'd see him doing when he has to leave on a mission is reassuring you like in a gentle, non frightening way. "I'll be back soon I promise", "I'll be fine." stuff that can make fans jump in the air.
On free time or if he can he will let you accompany him anywhere to make you happy.
