Saturn in the Houses Part 1

Saturn in the 1st house can't get away with anything. People look up to you, they admire you, and they expect you to rise up to their expectations of you. Because it is the ruler of your chart, it acts as a tough/strict parent, and it won't let you take the easy way out. When you learn something, you have to learn it the hard way; there are no shortcuts or easy ways out.

Saturn in the 2nd house spend money on yourself. Don't be cheap when it comes to buying things for yourself. Now, that doesn't mean buy in excess, it means buy quality. Being stingy with yourself won't get you anywhere. While I understand that these natives may have had a tough upbringing, when it comes to money and reckless spending, the faster you learn how to handle your money, the faster you'll see your life prosper.

Saturn in the 3rd house, you may come across as dumb (spoiler alert, you're not), especially in your early years. You may have had trouble with speaking, writing, or grammar. Small talk feels awkward to you, and you tend to feel invisible. People may also talk over you, which just diminishes your confidence further. You may also have a difficult relationship with your siblings. Take care of your electronics, they tend to break on you, and get your car checked regularly.

Saturn in the 4th house come to terms with the fact that you will not feel at peace with yourself (unless you're willing to change). The hollow in your chest is your craving for security that you didn't find at home. People don't go to you for parties or fun; they come to you when they need a shoulder to lean on. It doesn't matter whether your ma is carefree and loving or robotic and distant; you never felt happy with her. Most of you want to move out of your small town, but never do. Unless you resolve the problems within yourself and with your family members, you will never move on with your life.

Saturn in the 5th house, so many creative ideas and so much talent wasted because you can't let go and let loose (headcanon: I think Brandon from God of Fury has this placement). Very attractive but just won't accept love. Creativity and love have limitations because you keep setting nonexistent rules. You're finally ready to let loose? hold your horses because people are going to step on your boundaries. If anyone finds a way to balance this out, let me know.

Saturn in the 6th house wouldn't want to have your stomach issues. Everything has to do with structure; if there's no structure, you feel like your life will collapse, but will it really? Live a little, do something spontaneous. This might be the Aries moon in me, but don't you get bored doing the same thing every single day? Btw, your body keeps score, all the stress you're accumulating over the days will not just go away. Take care of yourself.

Astrology Observations 3

Aquarius Moons put everyone else’s feelings above their own. In my opinion, they’re the most selfless Moon sign. I hate the stereotype that they’re cold or uncaring just because they don’t give people the emotional reactions they expect. They might intellectualise their feelings instead of feeling them but I think that’s a coping mechanism developed from their emotionally unavailable mothers.

Pisces Moons forgive a lot, but that’s because they get offended a lot too. They take things deeply to heart, often reading situations as personal, even when they’re not meant that way. Yes, you are sensitive, yes, it’s just the way you are and there’s nothing you can do about it, no, people don’t owe you understanding. There is a reason you’ll never see two pisces moons together and it’s because they won’t be able to stand each other. It’s hard for them to take anyones feelings into consideration except their own. It’s not that they’re selfish or not empathetic, it’s just that their emotions are so intense that it clouds their perception.

Saturn in Retrograde (depending on the house it’s in and the aspects) often represents difficulty in your relationship with your father. For example, in the 11th house, it could mean that your father affects your public life and how people see you. In the 2nd house, it could mean financial control. In the 4th house it could mean that your siblings recieve mire attention from your father than you.

Venus conjunct Saturn Synastry is usually seen as long term/marriage aspect, but it’s never that simple when Saturn is involved. Usually, it will start with Venus showing interest, flirting and making it known that they have an interest in Saturn. Saturn will analyse the situation, they’ll see Venus as a fitting partner and immediately expect consistency and reliability from Venus. Now, Venus may play along or they may not, this creates an on and off dynamic. Unless both parties are ready for real commitment, this aspect will be a “the one that got away” type of thing. Tension, eye contact from across the room, months of not speaking then when you start speaking again it’s like nothing ever happened. This will probably go on forever unless Saturn is finally able to come to terms with the fact that Venus just doesn’t want to settle down, or if Venus decides to finally give the committed relationship a chance. If you are 19, and you’re Saturn, I am telling you now, leave that boy alone. Neither of you are ready for the commitment this aspect is asking for.

Saturn in the 11th house and difficulty to sustain deep friendships. You may be someone who puts genuine effort into your friendships and expects the same level of care in return, but saturn often brings challenges in the areas it touches. It shows us the places in life where things don’t come easily (disclaimer: I don’t think every saturn lesson comes with a reward at the end. I believe some lessons/difficulties we just have to live with for the rest of our lives). In the 11th house, that can translate in people just not caring about what you have to say. With saturn in the 11th house, this can sometimes show up as feeling overlooked in group settings. You might find yourself surrounded by people, yet feel like no one is really asking how you are or taking the time to listen to what you’re going through. Your lesson, I believe, is to learn to be self sufficient.

I can’t emphasise enough how important Moon Synastry is. When two people have compatible moons, emotions tend to flow naturally. Sometimes you understand each other from something as simple as a look. There is this sense of emotional safety and familiarity. But difficult moon synastry is where your patience is tested. It forces you to open yourself to a completely different emotional perspective. I’m an Aries moon and I used to talk to a Sagittarius moon. Aries processes feelings through action, they need a final conversation, a clear ending. Sagittarius, however intellectualises their feelings. They need to step back to analyse them and make sense of them and when they do, the move on. That leaves Aries stranded, waiting for a decisive moment to confirm it’s finally over.

Leo risings often have a rough/traumatic childhood, often connected with a father figure or another authority figure. Sometimes, male figures may try to diminish their confidence, challenge their pride, or even try to humiliate them. However, these natives can reclaim their power by learning to stop internalising these criticisms. Separating their identity from their traumatic past is when they’ll be able to fully step into their confidence and appreciate themselves fully.

Capricorn Moons are who you want to call when you run into a problem. Flat tyre? They’ll fix it. Full schedule? they’ll take things off your plate. When they care about someone, they usually show it through practical support and reliability. They make great boyfriends during the relationship and they show up whenever you need them. They tend to cheat though. I haven’t figured out why they do that just yet, I just noticed a pattern.

Having 8th House Venus with Aquarius Mars in you birth chart makes it difficult for people to understand your views on relationships.. Like yes, you want your partner to be completely devoted to you, have a deep, transformative connection, and soul-tie sex. But god forbid someone beings up traditional marriage, or rigid relationship labels. These natives want the type of dynamic where it is obvious to everyone around that there is a bond, even if it doesn’t fit traditional expectations.

Lilith conjunct ascendant/ lilith in 1st house don't necesseraily have that edgy/femme fatale look. Usually they have more of a soft, approachable, or even traditionally "good girl" appearance with a hint of something hidden. They are magnetic and polarizing but people just get this feeling that something bigger lies beneath the surface. You may find that people project intensity, or even mystery onto these natives.

Mars in the 12th house has to be one of the most frustrating placements to have. These natives have grand ideas and know they have the potential to achieve their goals, but they just can't get themselves to act on them. They bottle up their emotions, feelings and passions, overthinking them till kingdom comes, and once they finally build up the courage to take action, they just... don't. Either they talk themselves out of it, doubt the practicality of their ideas or believe that they're reaching for the stars. This usually leaves them living in nostalgia and "what ifs", not because they lack drive, but because that drive gets buried under fear, doubt, or unconscious resistance.

Pluto in the 3rd house and their hunger for knowledge. They pick one topic, get obsessed with it and accumulate an ungodly amount of facts about that topic. Add Jupiter to the equation, and it's a whole bunch of different topics. Those are your nerds, your "random facts" person.

Talking to a Mercury in Pisces native that is also multilingual is like trying to decipher the Davinci Code. Not only can you not understand their references and jokes, but now you also have to try and guess what the random foreign word they added means.

Trying to keep a private relationship with a Leo Venus is literally impossible. It’s like telling a child not to share a secret, then they go, “my mom said this is a secret, but…” and immediately spill everything. And god forbid they have a Gemini or Libra Mercury. They’ll be flirting with you in front of everybody.

Saturn Conjunct Venus Synastry creates a dynamic where Saturn wants a serious, stable relationship, and prefers to take things slowly and steadily. Venus, on the other hand, wants to engage in the relationship but still keep one foot out the door. If Saturn learns to stop pushing for control and Venus learns to appreciate stability and commitment, this is a long term marriage aspect. Still, wherever Saturn appears, there is usually a lesson involved.
