I got really back into it when I realized the new movie was coming out soon and I'm actually almost done with my second rewatch of it this year (cringe)! Perhaps, there was indeed super suspicious but better than the assassin, Cynthia encountered and almost got killed. Daisuke's partner though, either be a Pokemon or not, knowing she had met a Digimon that talks too like, every Digimon can talk and understand humans as well.

This took Cynthia's interest regarding Chibimon but this, will go later. Right now, the suspicious fellow in their cabin.

"I didn't and so is Togepi." It was a simple answer but what was Daisuke's intention anyhow? She asked in return. "Are you going to chase it? Guess i'll tag along with you." She didn't saw the one hence the hot coco will be empty too. She waits for him to move.

"I don't see anyone else getting up to investigate...So, yeah! Guess I am going!" Leave it to Daisuke to be as plucky as ever, even without the backup of the other chosen children or his jogress partner, that's just how it almost always was here.

The boy hopped off the bench he was assigned and took his digital partner in tow. He'll address the cocoa thievery later...Right now: there were bigger things to deal with!

"I'm no genius but..." That was Ken after all. "I don't think I'd murder someone in an enclosed space where I'm more likely to get caught."

A train ride with complimentary hot cocoa would draw the attention of any adolescent and their digimon. Though, in the middle of their ride, an announcement cut across the PA system: a body has been discovered, and its up to the passengers of the locomotive to figure out who the perpetrator was before they arrived to their destination.

Naturally, this earned Daisuke's ire, "Can't I go one day being on this island without something happening!!"

"With that mentality, you'd be in your room allllllll daaaaay! We best find someone and build up our alibi, before we're suspected, dummy!" Chibimon did in fact have a point...

So, Daisuke jumped on the cushion of his chair to see who was behind him...And it was some woman...With an egg digimon...He thinks??? Actually, he's not sure. Adults having digimon partners wasn't exactly common, so who knows. Now wasn't the time to bug out about that.

"Hey, lady. You didn't see anybody super suspicious in our cabin, did you?" And, while Daisuke was busy sleuthing, that was enough for Chibimon to enact its ultimate plan: drink the rest of Daisuke's hot cocoa while he was distracted...Always works.

"Close one. Sorry about that, my friend here has terrible aim." With a dissatisfied huff, the dragon perches on Lilli's shoulder, knocking the ball out of her hands.

"I've been trying to teach him to play... with varying degrees of success."

If he's not running into signs headfirst, it seemed that things would bonk him on the head regardless. It might explain the way he is! Fortunately, someone was able to stop it before it made impact.

That didn't mean Lilli wasn't going to have it, though!

"You should watch where you're throwing that thing around...Or get better taste in sports." Daisuke was more of a soccer kid!

The dragon was cool though! He wasn't going to outwardly admit that, though, he wasn't going to give her the satisfaction. Besides: it could just be an oversized iguana!

his words hold honesty to them ; will had to undergo that same scenario when he'd first travelled to london. he'd quickly learned it to be the city unfamiliar to warmth, as summer and spring at the heart of england felt like winter somewhere else. yes, of course will's worried about a kid having to spend the night outside .. but he's equally as curious about the weird animal he holds.

"Nope! Not at all. In fact, I've been here a couple of times in the past." The child loosened his hold on Chibimon, allowing it to just kind of dangle from his arms instead.

"Usually I get put in the beach ward...Now I'm in Archimedes. That's lame." It seemed like a more culturally rich ward...But that was hardly any fun.

"Oh? This? It's a...cat." Bold faced lie. "And what d'ya mean freakish?! What if it has feelings?!"

It wasn't too far from its fated partner at least, but, Chibimon at the end of the day was curious about the world around it. Even if it was so small in comparison to the district that was Odaiba, and certainly not as bustling. Which was probably a good thing, actually! It made being separated from Daisuke less scary for the both of them.

For awhile, Chibimon thought it heard someone hot on its trail: at a reasonable distance. Which it figured, if it couldn't shake them after...What was it? Four right turns? It may just turn around and say something!

Too bad Chibimon couldn't tell its right from its left...

So, after a while, it turns around to face Chara, who'd been tailing it for not that long, actually.

"What gives? I'm not a cat you can try to take home if that's what you're thinking!"

"It's rude to stare." Daisuke's grip tightened slightly around the middle of his digimon, as a way to hold it just a bit closer to his body. Everytime he came back to the city, he was never sure how adults would react to V-mon, so it was better to be safe than sorry, and just pretend like his partner was a stuffed animal of sorts until he could be sure that those around him would just let the digimon be.

"I'm not lost either. I just got turned around is all." He swore this city got bigger and bigger everytime he returned. But, before he could rumminate on that too too much, covertly his digimon whispered something to him from his death grip.

"Psst, can you loosen your grip, Daisuke, it hurts." It spoke without trying to move its lips too much. Chibimon was more than well aware of the routine, but, with how tight the chosen child had a grip on its small body, it might've started crying if it didn't say anything! Whether Will heard it was another story!
