Open to all applicants, the Miraculous: Lean On Me Zine, dedicated to disaster relief, aims to help those in need in the southern United States and Carribean islands. We want all talented artists and writers in this fandom to have a chance to offer their support. Hey there!

You can find the list of charities in this post but I’ll list them here again:

Houston SPCA - 2.2%

Houston Food Bank - 2.2%

Nechama - 2.2%

Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief - 20%

Topos - 8.9%

Islamic Relief USA - 6.7%

International Disaster Relief: Mexico City, Puebla, Morelos - 20%

Direct Relief - 13.3%

HispanicFederation - 4.4%

Unidos Por Puerto Rico - 20%

I unfortunately ended up deleting my note on how much money went to each charity, and thus can’t recall which one of the charities didn’t get donated to due to being an unsafe domain. Whichever charity it was, I ended up donating to another.

We raised a total of $474, and I after I had calculated out the percentages, I rounded them all up to the dollar and donated.

Also unfortunate is that I donated the majority of the money (over 400) in early December, and my bank history doesn’t stretch that far. But I am able to provide some of the emails in case anyone would like receipts:

I know I have more emails, but these were ones in one large chunk of donations, the others are scattered across ~300 other emails i have.

Originally I had planned to splice two photos together: one of me, the other of my cat. I went out in the rain and got my base photos and for whatever reason thought my cat would actually sit outside for me. I’M A BIG DUMB IDIOT LMAO I’m sorry buddy, no more rain for you. So in the end, I had to find a photo of a cat and add it ;0; I’m really proud of how it turned out though and I want to try more edits now!!!

A mural, a gift to the heroes of Paris, a symbol of support and unity.

Originally, it had just been an idea Nathaniel had while daydreaming in class. Ever since he had been saved many months ago, the heroes of Paris have been his main source of inspiration. He wanted to give back what they had done for the city, so he sketched out designs for a unity mural. He never intended for his ideas to become a real thing, it was simply something he did to try to feel as if he was supporting Ladybug and Chat Noir.

Rose had been the one to first see his sketches. She insisted that they show the rest of the class.

“Hey guys,” Nino spoke, breaking the silence that had fallen over the class and fiddling with his cap as they all turned to him, “Do you ever think about how exhausted Ladybug and Chat Noir have to be?”

With the silence only broken by the occasional screams of Ladybug and Chat Noir fighting off the newest akuma down the street, and the class huddled inside to avoid the danger, they all stopped for a moment to think on Nino’s question.

“What do you mean?” Mylene asked from where she was curled against Ivan’s side, his arm flung protectively around her shoulders.

Adrien had always defended his father from his friends; sure, he was reserved, even cold, but not heartless. But he was beginning to see just how callous his father could be.

When your son comes to you because his best friend’s entire apartment building burnt down, your response shouldn’t be, “Well, that’s unfortunate,” like it was just something mildly unpleasant. It’s unfortunate when your plans to play lacrosse are interrupted by a thunderstorm, or when you drop your croissant in a puddle. When you lose your home, it’s devastating.
