Hello all!! Blog Mod #1 (Ad) speaking. Welcome to our silly Among Us OC blog!! This will mainly be about me and my friends (Max , Bee, and Ozz)'s OCs / headcanons for the Among Us universe.
The general timeline of this is set BEFORE the influx of impostors caused the HQ to be evacuated, but a bit after the events of the Among Us Show. But, this doesn't mean you can't do asks based around different timelines!! We don't mind, just please clarify!

Some major events may occur that require context from these other blogs to explain them. Please go check 'em out when you get the chance!
Interactions with other blogs outside of this list will be considered AUs, so please do keep that in mind!
There are 4 mods here, Ad (they/it, the admin, owner of the cast (minus Mateo, Mercury, & Rokit)), Max (he/him, owner of Mateo), Bee (any/all, owner of Mercury), and Ozz (he/they/xe, owner of Rokit).
All of us are uncomfortable with NSFW stuff, so please refrain from asking about stuff like that. (Shipping and/or romance is 100% welcome, but keep it SFW and nontoxic (Unless it's Cherri x Fern they're very toxic and I LOVE them,, - Ad) folks!)

All ships mentioned in this blog are non-canon (though please do note that CherriTree is heavily implied), so people can ship whoever they'd like together (EXCEPT LEMON AND BARRY, THEY ARE SIBLINGS DO NOT SHIP THEM TOGETHER) !! I'd rather give y'all freedom to have fun than to just have stuff set in stone <3

HEADCANONS / AU STUFF
Some Among Us beans have some form of hair/fur and/or whiskers!! (This blog has mainly fluffy beans w/ whiskers because we as the creators love fluffy beans)
Every bean has their own name! Those who work for MIRA, however, are typically referred to as their colours to make sure that their employees are more expendable / easier to lose.
Impostors have 3 subspecies; shapeshifters (has ability to shapeshift), phantoms (has the ability to go invisible), and vipers (has strong acidic venom that dissolves victims). All of these subspecies come from genetic mutations which worked to improve their hunting, thus leading to their more prevalent roles in society.
Impostors are able to see / communicate with ghosts, but only when they're in a distressed state-of-mind. (aka not mentally well <3)
Impostors retain the memories and personalities of their hosts.
Shapeshifters do not need a host to control like the other types of impostors, rather, they rely on their ability to mimic the appearances of other crewmates.
Because of this, shapeshifters tend to lack much personality, and usually build up their own over years of studying crewmates.
Vipers have subtle snake-like features (occasional scales, sharper fangs than normal impostors, etc.)
Phantoms camouflage rather than just go invisible (kinda like chameleons!)
Each planet that crewmates inhabit have some form of protective barriers that make sure that impostors cannot get in or out of said planet via ships. This is why, when all tasks are completed, the impostors lose. (assuming that all tasks being completed means that the ship arrives at its designated location)
Despite these barriers, however, some impostors do occasionally manage to sneak in, whether that be via transported Ore+ (impostor eggs) or other impostors who have been already inhabiting the planet alongside crewmates.

Coco (they/them, Brown) - Botanist and the crew's doctor, cares for the plants in the Greenhouse, alongside their fellow crewmates (Scientist)
*Mateo (he/him, Tan) - The crew's engineer, always sure to fix anything that's broken and can typically be found hanging around in the vents. (Engineer)
*Rokit (he/they, Banana) - The crew's head (and only) chef, makes all the meals for the crew (Viper)
*Mercury - (any/all, Grey) - The crew's security guard, primarily watches over cams / checks the motion sensor. (Crewmate)
*Skye's voice claim is specifically Berdly in their video *Rokit does not sound so mechanical *Mateo's voice claim is sadly from a not as well-known game, so I currently do not have a video with his lines + he does not sound so mechanical *Mercury does not have a voice claim yet

Clementine - Boss/Subordinate (Friendly) | Cherri finds Clementine's antics endearing, but they don't interact much. Coco - Boss/Subordinate (Neutral) | Coco keeps to themself too much for Cherri to really form any opinion. Fern - Boss/Subordinate (???) | Fern is very intriguing to Cherri. They want to learn more about his motivations. Lemon - Boss/Subordinate (Friendly) | Cherri doesn't take much interest in Lemon. Coco - Coworker (Friends) | Clementine and Coco often talk about plants together, and Coco lets them relax in the Greenhouse if they get overwhelmed. Fern - Coworker (Friends) | Clementine enjoys being around Fern and watching them work, but they find it odd that he primarily keeps to himself. Lemon - Coworker (Friendly) | Clementine enjoys Lemon's presence. Mateo - Coworkers (Friendly) | Clementine thinks Mateo is super cool! It’s good to have a sense of control in a place as chaotic as this Clementine - Coworker (Neutral) | Mateo feels that get the job done well enough. He will occasionally purposefully pop out of vents and make noises to scare them tho. Coco - Coworker (Semi-Negative) | Mateo initially saw them as a crazy plant person that has been exposed to way too many fumes, But over time Mateo has gotten Curious about Coco and their love for plants, he will sometimes stop by O2 and see if any of the plants need attention and alert Coco through other crewmates. Fern - Coworker (Friendly) | Mateo is glad Fern is aware something is up, they are also a little jealous of that spiffy suit Fern has. If only he weren’t broke Lemon - Cowoker (Neutral) | Mateo mistook Lemon as someone he knew in high school and when he realized it wasn’t them he became way too awkward to ever talk to them again and actively avoids them.
