I wouldn’t say she’s culturally offensive but I think ignorant and thoughtless is probably fair. Casa Rosa is a mess and if Miranda didn’t have the team she does I would say she would have gotten a lot more heat from it from certain corners because there were a lot of Latina people in Nashville who were annoyed by that. Having said that I don’t think it’s a problem for Brendan, his family is pretty right wing and a lot of his friends are MAGA and have pretty racist views based on their social media.

Well again…Dominican is not the same as Mexican. Just like Irish isn’t the same as Canadian. Just because you have language in common doesn’t make you aware of crap, you know? Plus the part of Texas she’s from is more Deep South than Tejano so she’s not that close to the culture anyway. They have more in common with Louisiana than New Mexico.

I don’t know if Brendan has an account because I’m not on it anymore but I used to be and you don’t have to be in the entertainment industry. You need an invitation from at least three mutuals. You don’t need a verified Instagram account just a high follower and engagement count. I have heard that Miranda used to have an account. If they are seeing other people on the down low then it would make sense that Brendan would use it because of the privacy protections. There are a number of married and committed artists in Nashville that use it.

I really really doubt they still use their accounts but I kinda suspect that’s how they met. On an app.

Raya isn’t only for celebrities. My housemate has a marketing business and has it. If you pay and have a solid social media presence then you’ll likely get accepted. Brendan definitely has a profile. Is that really hard to believe? Even if you think this marriage isn’t just a PR/money thing it’s a pretty sure bet that it’s an open marriage.

I don’t really understand how some of y’all still think this is a real relationship? No one in Nashville thinks it is. It doesn’t look like one. Idk. I saw a breakdown about each ETOTY stats for the eligibility period and can understand why their fan bases were upset. Ran didn’t come close. Her only hit was a pop song she didn’t write, was another artists song and wasn’t on country charts till June. Neither album sold. However other artists have been awarded ETOTY during their off years based on overall career contribution. So I’ve no problem with her getting this. Like admin said it was now or never.
