That really depends. Pierrot would try to cheer MC up maybe take them for a walk or do something fun to lift their spirits. Harlequin would do something similar, but in his own way… trying to make MC 'forget' about the problems instead.

Pierrot wouldn’t mind wearing them over his clothes if it made MC happy. Harlequin would probably find a way to convince MC to wear them instead.

Aaaaaaaaa I just had a thought! How would Harlequin react if instead of eating the circus food before Pierrot's show, the MC had eaten the food before Harlequin's show, and the effects started to kick in while the MC is talking to him? I assume he would figure out pretty quickly what's going on and use it to his advantage for flirting, lol.

He probably can't do much if the MC faints in front of him since Pierrot seems to be watching, but I can imagine him being all smug and holding the MC close when Pierrot does appear to check on them (///°ω°///)

Would he easily hand over MC to Pierrot if Pierrot demands to take care of them?

He would definitely use that to his advantage! He’d notice the effect kicking in quickly and start teasing lightly, testing if he could get anything more since MC would be more "receptive"

It’s hard to escape Pierrot’s watchful eyes, but Harlequin would find a way to steal some time with MC, even if Pierrot comes after them later. He definitely wouldn’t give MC up so easily. And if more people were around, Harlequin could use that to his advantage, knowing Pierrot wouldn’t make a scene right then and there.

You mentioned how Pierrot would approach with care if MC had mental health problems, but what about Harlequin? I remember you stated he was more manipulative; would he use MC's mental illness against them to "win"? Or is that a line he wouldn't cross? I kind of want to know how fucked up he is lmaoo

There are lines Harlequin doesn’t cross some of them will even be shown a bit more clearly on Day 2. He wouldn’t use something like that to his advantage it wouldn’t be fun for him. Just like if MC had trouble moving around, he wouldn’t use that to trap them somewhere either. What he wants is to win them over. His manipulation works through the openings MC gives him.

That depends a bit. Pierrot would want to keep it, but if it were something important to the MC, he'd return it just to have an excuse to get close one more time. Arlequin would give it back, probably while flirting, gently slipping it back into the MC's pocket and pointing out how dangerous it is to be careless around him.

I been curious about two things, both non spoiler territory either. First question being, if Pierrot and Harlequin have a favorite flower (or flowers) then would it be? Secondly, I randomly thought this kind of scenario in my head, what if MC is rather an insomniac, how would Pierrot would react to this?

And to add, I have thoroughly enjoyed your game! It's such a treat to see even the smaller details, the art is fantastic, and I am highly invested to see more of the game and seeing more of the circus, the rest of the cast, along with seeing more of Pierrot and Harlequin in the future too!

I haven’t fully decided on the flowers yet, but they do have favorite plants/trees. Pierrot likes the ipê tree, which is very colorful. Harlequin likes the lady of the night flower, which has a pleasant fragrance and only blooms at night.

Pierrot would be more cautious. He wouldn’t be able to watch MC from too close if he knew they were awake he wouldn’t want to scare them. Thank you! I hope you’ll enjoy what’s coming next!

Okay so if the circus have trucks and tents they need to move around I imagine they need to take a boat if moving between continents. Naturally, I'd love to know if any of them get seasick!

Pierrot's entire act seems to be movement based, so it seems like he would be fine, but it would be hilarious if Harlequin ends up as the one being seasick and Pierrot gets to be all smug about it.

Also! What are their thoughts on the ocean? Can they swim? Are any afraid of the deep sea? (And is the deep sea in this world perhaps more dangerous than ours?) Sorry if these asks aren't all that related to the main game.

They always manage to find a way to travel whenever they decide to go somewhere!

So far, I don’t think any of them would get seasick (although it would be funny to see Harlequin all dizzy from it haha).

The Ticket Taker and the Fifth can’t swim. They’re not afraid of the ocean or anything it’s just something normal for them, maybe because they’re used to it! Pierrot and Jester actually enjoy boat trips.

I can share a few small details about him! It’s nice to see that lately more people who like him are showing up! Harlequin:

He’s 1.87m tall. (6 feet 1.5 inches) He likes the colors green, cyan, and red. Food-wise: He loves meat! And prefers savory food and enjoys trying spicy dishes (he also likes offering them to others to see their reactions). Although he’s not very fond of sweets, he always steals at least one that Pierrot makes, even though he finds them too sweet. He likes to always be well-groomed and presentable to the public.

Like if it was a MC who was normally reactive to his comments, suddenly ignoring his existence, either as a joke or because they were genuinely pissed. I can pretty much guess Pierrot's response, but Harlequin is much harder to figure out.

A silent treatment would make him "accept the challenge." If you’re not even going to say no to him, he’ll take that as a chance to push your limits just to see how long you can keep quiet. And depending on how you react, things might escalate a little.

Harlequin really is complicated. He carries himself in a way that doesn’t always reflect what’s actually going on inside.

I have a bit of a random question though, can we know how Pierrot and Harlequin would behave with children?

Or if MC had a younger sibling or anything like that 🫶

They’re definitely not good at dealing with children they’re just not used to it, since the circus doesn’t even allow them. Both Pierrot and Harlequin would keep their distance, almost as if they were afraid of "breaking" something.

Let’s say the child got too close to Pierrot, he’d freeze, with a visible look of distress, completely unsure of what to do.

Harlequin, in that scenario, would dodge away, avoiding any contact to make sure things don’t get out of his control.

Hello there! Just wanted to stop by and ask you some questions considering the game!

1( Alright so, right at the start of the game where when we picked the path to help Pierrot to which Pierrot became obsessed with MC, and Harlequin when we meet him for the first time and he gained interest in us after Pierrot gave us a red ticket, it makes me wonder? Will the other future characters become obsessed with MC in their own pace? Like for an example:

On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being like Pierrot's obsession with us, and 1 being Harlequin obsession with us when we first met the both of them? I'm wonder if the future characters will just be like Pierrot or more like Harlequin

2(What will happen if we friend-zoned or sibling-zone both Harlequin and Pierrot? What will their reaction be? Will they be sad, mad, confused, unfazed?

3( Is it possible that Harlequin will stalk us and look through our window just Pierrot did? If so, how would he be like?

4( What will both Harlequin and Pierrot's reaction be to a MC who immediately runs away from them on sight? Like I'm not talking about being fluster by them and then running away, I'm talking about where MC could be walking and the second that they spot us, we immediately do a 180 turn around and immediately walk away/run away-

I can say that the others will have their own pace with MC, somewhere between obsession and curiosity. I wouldn’t say Harlequin’s obsession would be a 1 on a scale from 1 to 5. His intensity and intentions are just different from Pierrot’s.

There are some scenarios like that already planned, so I can’t give too many details right now.

In the game so far, that doesn’t happen but in the future, depending on your actions, he might eventually show up.

If MC is in that region purely out of fear, Pierrot would be more cautious, approaching slowly to convince MC that he’s not a threat (if MC doesn’t want him to be). Harlequin might take a more direct approach, confronting MC until they get used to his presence.

I got this idea from a friend of mine as we are avid monster lovers, anything monster related we adore—I remember when playing tfc for the first time and hearing Harlequin’s play about monsters and almost immediately registered the idea they were indeed monsters and I loved em EVEN MORE

So that begs my question: what if MC was a monsterlover? Would Harlequin and Pierrot think they were serious or joking? Would that change how they act around mc and what they allow mc to see and know or would mc still essentially be left in the dark about what they really are?

They really wouldn’t understand how the MC could 'like' monsters, especially considering the way people usually treat them during their travels. So in that case, they might not try to hide it as much when alone with the MC, but showing anything more would only come after they’ve grown closer once they feel safe about it. (Though Harlequin isn’t as cautious as Pierrot in that regard.)

Pierrot would probably bake a small cake with MC’s favorite flavor (he would definitely find out what it is, even if MC didn’t say anything). He’d also give chocolate sweets called “brigadeiro” it’s one of his favorites, and he’d really want MC to try them.

Harlequin, on the other hand, might give something MC could actually use, so they’d see his gift throughout the day.

They have more than one set of the outfits they wear it’s basically their “uniform.” Aside from those, they also own a few human clothes they have to wear in certain situations. (Sorry if I didn’t understand your question correctly!) Pierrot really likes touching the waist and shoulders, it brings him closer to MC. Harlequin prefers getting close to the neck. He enjoys watching the shivers and whispering near MC’s ear.

1. I didn’t quite understand this question, but none of them have human tongues they're all different!

2. It’s still too early to talk about their fetishes since I’m “testing out scenarios,” but maybe Jester is slightly sadistic. After the next update, I think I’ll be able to confirm more things about these three. Circus owners

1 . They don’t have a defined length yet, but Pierrot and Jester are the ones with the longest tongues.

2. They do bathe and have basic needs! To move the circus around, they have a trailer and some vehicles, so they shower either in the trailer or in hotels from time to time it really depends on where they are.

Hello! Everything is great here! 1. Let’s just say they realized that human flesh satisfies and sustains them more than any other kind of food. I think that’ll become a bit clearer later on.

2. He would approach the MC to take them somewhere more private. Being the host of the show would give him the perfect excuse to lead them away without raising suspicion from the audience.

They’re more resilient, but yeah, they can definitely get sick if they don’t take proper care of themselves.

A lot of people ask me about their handwriting. Maybe at some point I’ll try drawing it out.

Pierrot and Harlequin are actually pretty violent with each other. They just hold back when they’re in public. Inside the circus, things can get a lot rougher.

He’d try to hold himself back from sending letters every day afraid of coming on too strong.

And yep, it really is their hair, haha! The Ticket Taker hides his under the top hat. His mask also covers part of the back, so you’d only catch a little glimpse of it anyway.

They could absolutely kill out of jealousy, and maybe… that’s already happened.
