“I... where...” a weak voice gasped from down below ground, its voice unheard, not one could hear a sound. It felt something missing, something not there, it reached for its body but it couldn’t find it there. A lone shattered gem, nestled deep down below, it longs to be perfect, it longs to be whole. So as it concocted a way to be complete, an idea formed in this moving limb’s mind. Its eye glanced around not wasting any time, and it began to put itself together with one mind. The pieces were scattered, shattered all to bits, but it stuck itself together from little fragments, other poor gems no longer wondering, no longer bothering, were part of it now.

Its mind completely warped, it knew not who it was now, nestled down below, a gem did grin wide, its limbs all distorted and its mind not quite right. “I’m perfect and beautiful, one forever more, now its time to go to the surface to settle this score~” so it broke through the earth, out from the ground, and dragged itself back up to a rather lonely world, not a gem was in sight, not friend or even foe. This lonesome gem felt herself all alone, but something deep within, made her burn so bright, she couldn’t even believe she was doubting her mind.

So she lugged herself off, with burning passion in her heart, she knew not where she was going only that she wanted satisfaction, something so far, something out of reach, she wanted to show them all who really couldn’t be beat...

The gem, as falling, would stretch out to grab onto some electrical wiring and spinning around on it before launching herself in some random direction. While she wasn’t really looking for anything she sure was having a bunch of fun just bouncing around these human things. That is until she crashes face first into a Building, actively stopping her ability to continuously launch herself from one structure to the other. Sliding down comically slow, she eventually hit the ground. 

Lapis just saw someone hit a building.. and then slide down it. When the person was all the way on the ground after pulling that freakishly risky if amazing stunt the woman was quick to rush over. She felt amazed, worried, and perhaps a bit frightened as she came to meet what she could assume wasn’t fully human.. what with survival by building collision. “Oh my gosh, are you alright?!” she spoke out in shock, staring at the gem widely.

Spinel, after getting a good look from the area around her, literally ended up jumping off the tower. Happily falling who knows how far. At this point she was just going to land on her feet without a problem, maybe she’d have to squish herself down to help the impact but also because then she could spring back up. Nevertheless, the Gem was happily going about her day in no regard or care for those around her as she didn’t know she may have broken an antenna.  

“What the heck-” Lapis had to take a moment as she saw the antenna fall off from the top of the tower along with something else as well. That’s when she decided almost on instinct to go chase whatever that ‘thing’ was. She must have been some kind of an idiot, maybe even a fool! But it seemed Lapis was just too caught up with her own intrigue over what was happening. Sure it may even be a little endangering to herself, but.. she just couldn’t help it. This hadn’t exactly happened before.

“Well let’s take a little lookie around the place! A few humans still around, nothing really new going on.” The Gem was currently standing atop of one of those weather radar towers. Handing on with one hand and looking out with her other, that currently was morphed into Telescope looking thing.

“.. I can’t do my forecast for the day? What’s that supposed to mean?” Lapis was being informed that apparently there were some issues and so her show couldn’t be broadcasted as schedule. Apparently there was.. interference of some kind, and none of them were really sure from what. So for the day Lapis was let go and allowed to leave, her eyes gazing around till she spotted something on a nearby tower, and didn’t look like any antenna. “Huh? What’s that?” wondered the woman, squinting her eyes at something rather colorful.

[I have nothing to do on here right now, except maybe watch the dashboard, or listen to a bit of music.]

“I remember being asked once “hey is your fake name?” all because apparently its strange my name is Lapis Lazuli, like come on... some people just have unique names is all.” and its not like she could ask her parents why she had that name, because she never knew them to begin with... if she even had parents. Lapis really is an enigma.

“... still feeling tired, alright.” another empty cup, maybe she should go grab a few more, but the bench was just.. she really wasn’t feeling like moving. “why can’t this place be just a little more interesting?”

[I feel like Lapis would get along with those who feel they have no place in the world, or even those that feel like they don’t belong.. because on a regular basic she feels she doesn’t belong since humans really can’t do what she can. Despite her happy facade she feel like she’s miles out of the reach of truly belonging with humanity. After all what other human can control the rain or make it downpour hard enough to make the air hard to breathe in?]
