I’m more concerned about getting the new Neko Atsume cat than about my final on Monday.

Also, I can’t get the Chairman to visit! I’ve had the earthenware bowl out many times with Frisky Bits, Ritzy Bits, and sashimi and still no luck :(

Update: got the Chairman! Now to get the new kitty.... I have the snowy pillow and the basket case and am going to put out the blizzard tent and catch that sneaky dude!

I will make two big purchases when I finally have that biglaw paycheck.

The first is a Barbour (not Burberry, I confuse them sometimes) coat. Because I have been lusting after one for years and it is cute af. The big dilemma will be olive or navy. Good thing I have two years to decide....

The second is that aquaponics garden by Grove Labs. I want a mini garden and fishies!

……….and then I will be a fiscally responsible human being after that.

my church’s bible study this winter is focused on first samuel and we were talking about how during that time it was common to “offer” a child to god by giving them to the temple to be raised there and how all throughout the bible losing a child is the most horrific thing people go through, or are “asked” to go through by god. why would jesus be any different, god had no language to tell us and no other way to get our attention so deeply.

I feel like I'm lacking purpose rn. Or meaning. And as much as 1L was hell and I wouldn't want to do it again.... I wish I could go back and redo it. Maybe I'd study harder. Or make a choice (I don't know what choice) that would have given me a role this year that would have given me purpose. I just.... I feel like I missed a turn somewhere.
