Yesterday I figured out Tess's wing shape, got design ideas down for the conquest protagonists and started working on the outline again.

Today I figured out the lore of Coldsnap and solved a plot point by making another character. Her name is Flare rn!

Edit: When I wake up I hope I can figure out the culture of Coldsnap and the plot going on there. I have a lot of blocks already placed. I should also work on organizing the lore doc for the region.

this blog is almost three years old and i'm still rewriting the same story over and over. Bad thing is, I was thinking abt how cool of a concept my removed character Gemini was and accidentally made the three-worlds draft from 2022 make sense.

SOLUTION.

There's going to be a chapter mid book three called "conquest" that breaks the formatting and the narrative a little bit. It exists on its own. It's also a prequel to the story.

I START WITH THAT. MAKE THE ENTIRE OUTLINE FOR THAT. It's longer than any other chapter could ever be but it's like less than a 16th* the size of the rest of the comic. it, notably, exists on its own. my problem is I'm too busy worried about having everything in this large story fit together. Not conquest, it exists on it's own.

ALSO

I don't have to worry about it being perfect or releasing it. it comes in the middle of the story.

With other things i've not stressed about releasing, it's like. why the fuck am i wasting my time on this. Then its something I am going to release and it has to be perfect.

*four books of roughly equal length, theres no way conquest could take up more than a quarter of b3

chat i fucked up i missed a day bc i was busy and it broke my routine. I haven't drawn anything substantial for like a week. Probably going to be a month or two before I have alot to post, most of my energy with this project is making sure the plot makes sense but there is a lot of plot and I want to have a complete outline before i start publishing anything.
