"Mamaa...mamaa...mama!" You let out an exasperated sigh as the little cub kept waddling after you, you didn't want to touch the humanoid snow Leopold baby that had just learnt walking, knowing his father was nearby, but you had a duty and feeding the little one was one of them, you reached out for the little cub who obediently stretched out his hands.

"You were a good boy?" You couldn't help but coo as the cub nuzzled your neck affectionately, his ears perked up as he slowly blinked "Yea!...was good!" He replied before making grabby hands for your hand so you could pet his head.

This was your own fault for taking a little cub as your familiar, well, technically the baby imprinted on you and his father, which you dared not to look in the eyes was a behemoth of a hybrid, was not pleased, but he stayed in the shed in the backyard of your home, watching closely how you treated his precious cub.

You didn't look at him in the eyes, not because you were afraid, no, it was because he'd devour you whole with his piercing gaze, nearly pouncing on you to nuzzle you close, oh right, as the cub thought you were his mother, he now had claimed you as his mate, welp, good thing you have a spray bottle for shooing him away.

Lord, what would you do with them two when your witchery exams drew near?

mulchkit's thoughts on romance and how her cat-parents are different from most couples :] plus some fleeting glimpses of past mulchlives. I have talked a bit about doefang and pinesap being in a queerplatonic relationship before, but wanted to address it more in-comic! mulch really doesn't have a label she is nothing at all really, just demonness. If you want to interpret her as aroace, thats cool and Doefang is aromantic to me :]

Sometimes I forget that my story is MINE and I have the power to change it whenever I get bored

I got stuck in my second chapter the other day and I was like

Let's speed things up and have the main characters lose their faith in humanity like rn and have them run away and meet God

I was thinking about Aylin's birth in TFP and how is not sunshine and rainbows at all, Lisha had to go through a c section and deal with severe postpartum depression before and after she gave birth, she really became numb to the little bitlet, her sanity hanging by a thread of "responsibility" for the child, because if she or Fowler disappeared from the picture who knows what could've been the fate for the little baby

I think as Aylin grows so does Lisha's internal conflict for her daughter, from a point of view she despise that she brought her into the world while in the other side she can't help but take responsibility for it, don't get me wrong, Lisha doesn't straight up abandon Aylin ( both of them are in the government "care") but she often fakes her feelings and behavior around Aylin to give her even the slightest sense of a normal childhood, because that's what mothers are supposed to do, to be there and love their children unconditionally, no matter what.

Also Lisha is low-key dying slowly because the pregnancy was eating her alive, and the after effects of it remained even after birth.
