When I saw the au I was absolutely smitten by the idea and I wanted to draw something for it, but then I thought maybe one frame wasn’t enough.. And then this long-ish fluff comic happened LOL. I also just wanted an excuse to put blue roses and Victor in the same shot heh. Wiki stated “orchideous” is used to conjure ANY type of flower, but it really sounds like it’s exclusive to orchids hahah. Thanks again @46gohan ~ ! :))

i don’t actually have a good guide because i kinda just wing it but here’s how i kind-of approach it. the best advice i have is to look at lots of real life reference and also your own hands if it helps!

She is a character from my comic Carciphona; so far she is only briefly referred to in book 5, page 66, then never mentioned again, but she will be an important character as I expand on the history of the story world in the future. I drew her once before in one of 2016’s patreon rewards.

I originally planned for this picture to be an interpretation of an artist, sculpting the world with a sword, which is in a sense what this character is about. However I only intended it to be a static pose with a small dagger, sculpting a seat out of stone or something, but as I wanted more and more for the picture, it turned into this totally different thing here :’) I hope to polish this to finish some day but we all know how big that pile is already hahaha
