This kept popping up on my watch feed, and I didn’t even know what movie it came from but I became obsessed with this scene. It is filmed so beautifully, and the actress conveyed the emotion of the scene really well.

All bl novel lovers: Worried that China censorship will ruin all the upcoming BL dramas.

Me: *on a sugar high* What if, we dupe the censorship board by saying that its a cross dressing story.

Producer: no, no, no, that is not two men kissing. The “female lead” is simply disguised as a man right now.

Audience: *looking extremely nervous* *shifty eyes* yes, yes, yes, that is definitely a girl. Super sharp jawlines, and broad shoulders are all the trend in women’s beauty right now.

Actual show: shows one of the male lead dressed as a girl in the last 30 seconds of the final episode with an abrupt cut to the ending credit.

Producer: See, I told you its not a bl story. *insert nervous laugh*
