I love that I am in one of the best places in my life that I have ever been in. I am happier than I have been in a very long time. I’m becoming at peace with who I am and it feels amazing. I can’t wait to see where this amazing life takes me. I know that the people I have in my life right now are genuine. To the people that are no longer a part of my life. If you are not actively in my life you have no need to know anything about it. It doesn’t matter how long you were in my life or how much we meant to each other. There is a reason we are not in each others lives anymore.

Being terrified of failure can be lonely…

Receiving bad news can be odd for me. Yes I feel sad or bad or mad or whatever emotions the news makes me feel. But I feel worse for the people in my life that it hits harder for. I know I am allowed to feel what I feel but sometimes their pain is more important than mine and that is okay.

I use to have problems remembering to turn on the light. Finding ways to make myself happy and not always trying to make others happy has been amazing for me! :)

it is not my job to fix other people

it is not my job to make other people happy

i do not have to anticipate other people's needs

it is okay if the other person didn't agree with me

it is okay to be myself and not what others want me to be

I read this today and this sums me up very well! I dealt with a lot of stupid shit for a long time and I just don’t have the time or energy to anymore. I value my sanity and happiness and I do not need to apologize for that!
