problems i started facing from the earlier version:
the animation widgets (murmuration, turing, diffusion, attractor, the inkdrop/waves) were consuming up a ridiculous amount of battery - like my battery went from 100% to 20% in less than 4 hours (from ~8 hours before) just with these, because all were running in parallel. and i wasn't looking at them all the time, anyway. not at the same time, in the least.
i just felt. so many widgets are essentially in the same system, doing different systems (the simulations/animations, clock and calendar, storage and the neofetch/fastfetch widgets) - that version, i think, coherence was low, lol. i din't like it much.

how i fixed them:
put all sims in one widget - stacked it like apple widgets. with one click, all sims can be shuffled through! this fixed the battery problem since only one of the widgets were constantly animating (/refreshing) at a time, so less resources of battery and memory used! doing this gave me my battery back lol.
put clock and calendar in the same widget - same thing as the above, more visual coherence across the system.
combined the storage and fastfetch widgets - same principle as the above. four stacks - system information, ascii art, battery, storage. again, more aesthetic lmao.
made the folders widget a sleek little line instead of the block it was before.
made the quote circular to accommodate the widgets and the space between them better.
added the same hover effect to everything.
added: my summer plans and my future plans, since i had the entire right side empty as my canvas, and i couldn't think of a better system than this.
okay so the trailer is very bollywood-esque, i'll have to give it that. with the trailer pacing, the shots, the dancing...and..the places depicted (i recognised only vrindavan so far) i think are ai enhanced? whatever magic they're doing, it seems to be working.
the songs are also pretty new i think i've watched the trailer twice (second time not even fully) and the tunes are stuck in my head lol.
and...krishna is not portrayed by sourabh raj jain here :( which is a bit sad but also. new face. this krishna is muscular af. like damn, when did he get so muscular.
and the movie is krishnaavataram part i: hridayam, and the trailer does depict till satyabhama and a war with her..so i guess in that time they'll show everything till her? am not sure..but eager for it anyway
and okay i feel like they're giving much too importance to radha, which. um. im not complaining. but also why.
speaking of radha, her voice is a bit on raspier side which i find very attractive. she;s also very pretty and so are the other deities (rukmini, satyabhama)
our kanhaiya is also very pretty but that goes without saying.

but then again pick up most of the serials where krishna is there in vrindavan, its always krishna aged up to be much more than 13 (he even looks it) but his age isn't specified at all.
my speculation/opinion is that. when serials/mediums pick up krishna to depict in vrindavan, they almost certainly pick up radha. this is to depict the love between the two - radhakrishna. this is quite divine, and legendary, and so many devotees believe in this.
here comes a thing, though: radha (where she was first depicted, she was not there in the original bhagvat gita/puranas) is older than krishna (my estimate, from what i know, is that there's atleast a 10 year age gap between them)
and yes, okay, radha and krishna love each other and eternal love and everything. but i don't think that in this world and age, depicting a 10 year old and 20 year old (minimum) in love, would be comfortable for anyone to witness and consume.
so to probably match radha's age (everything is sort of focused on her), they probably age up krishna. also: radha doesn't show up anywhere other than vrindavan, so they can't preach love in any other part/location either. (there's already a lot being taught in the other parts of the mahabharata anyway)
also, in order to teach the main values of love (and everything that come up with it) AND to retain radhakrishna (they don't want radha removed) they do the aging up because, well. can you imagine a 10 year old preaching about love in any universe?

look. from what i've seen of radhakrishna serials, i believe that most of the story is from radha's pov and not from krishna's; cus most of these serials are preaching love. and come on. vrindavan wasn't only for love. it was primarily mischief and cow herding and maakhan chori and what not. and none of these serials focusing on her depicts all this in full scale.

Radha is complicated to say the least. Historians debate her entire existence due to her absence in the main mahabharatam . Her first , major appearance, was in Gita Govinda by Jayadev . This is why you'll see none of the krishna temples before the 12th century , have Radha in them. Even in vrindavan. So historians agree that she's a figure created by the public to both attract followers into the bhakti ras as a whole and also to make krishna softer , more love-coded . Him as dwarkadhish is someone else entirely . And you might notice that , that area of his life isn't preached much . Other than the gita part .
Yet devotees disagree. As per their standards, Radha hadn't been mentioned in Mahabharat by Shuka because as her devotee he would go into samadhi everytime he uttered her name . So while narrating the Mahabharata to The king , he instead uses synonyms. Like Aradhita , Aaradhyaa etc etc . Those names are present in the 10th canto where Krishna's life in vrindavan is depicted .
The most important scripture for Radha is however Brahmavaivarta Puran and Harivamsa Puran (personally I dislike Brahmavaivarta Puran . It's very ridiculous) ...
So far from what I've gathered , Radha was actually around 3 to 4 years older than Krishna. Not 10 . She was married young like many other women back then .
As per Bengali folklore , she was married to Ayan Ghosh . Who was a businessman.
A rishi in his past life had asked a boon from vishnu to marry the prettiest woman in the universe (by default Lakshmi) ... Hence he was reborn as Ayan Ghosh. But the plot twist , bro was a businessman and stayed out the whole time . While some folklores also say he was impotent.
Krishna was barely 11 when he left Vrindavan. It's written somewhere. 11th year 25th day or something like that . While Radha there would've been 13 max. All the gopis ranged from 11 to 14 . The oldest was Lalita , at only 14.
So yeah. There's LITERALLY no romance arc happening in vrindavan because ... Well. 13 yr old girls and a 10 yr old kid. Can't really understand the concept of love . No matter how divine. Their love was more of a soul connection . A natural recognition of soulmates yk .
These serials milked that whole thing and turned something sacred into something very icky somehow 😂

very mysterious no that shuka, a devotee of radha, who's lakshmi mata herself, would go into samadhi every time he uttered her name. but he hadn't gone into samadhi every time rukmini, or any of the other eight wives' names came up; they were all forms of ashtalakshmi, right?
