i dont even know what it is about trimberly. we got 1 movie where it was only hinted that trini was gay and they shared some longing looks and thats literally it yet we all just went ham over it. theres something so appealing abt them

Honestly, I blame Nay and Becky and their insane chemistry.

But seriously. We have so little to work with, and we’re not going to get any more, sadly. And yet, here we are, two years later, and the fandom – though much smaller – is still going strong. We have writers, artists, gif makers, photo makers, and headcanonists (yeah that’s a word), and the consumers who are also a big part of it. We have all these people making all of this wonderful stuff, STILL. With the same half a dozen scenes. From some flirty donut fighting, some exchanged looks, and one wretchedly, wrongly deleted locker scene. And that pathetic ‘coming out’ from Trini. That’s it. That’s what we have. And look at us. Still loving these two girls. Still trying to keep this fandom alive. Making friendships. We did that. We’re doing that.

What is it about them? Their chemistry. The ying and the yang. The looks. The stuff we’ve made ‘canon’. Their determination, their fight, and their struggles. They compliment each other so well. You can’t tell me that they won’t end up married, driving each other crazy, but loving each other every day. The one teenage romance that will last.

I’m proud of this fandom, tbh. We were given so little, and we’ve come so far. We should all be proud of ourselves.
