The kanji that proceeds it is repeated, however sometimes the pronunciation can change. In this example the pronunciation didn’t change 「色々・いろいろ」, but the pronunciation of the kanji for people/everybody changes「人々・ひとびと」. If you guys would like me to go into this repetition kanji further just let me know in my messages! Irregular: In Japanese there is one irregular adjective which is ‘いい・good’. Originally, the word for good was written in kanji 「良い」but overtime the reading for the kanji changed from いい to よい. This means that いい is almost always written in hiragana. At first glance, いい looks like any other い adjective and generally follows the same rules as one. It can be used in front of a noun and conjugate with です, however when it comes to negative form and past tense, いい changes drastically. The final い is dropped in the negative form and is replaced by 'くありません’, and the first い becomes よ. The final result of いい in the negative form is よくありません. いい conjugation: Present Positive・いいです・いい Present Negative・よくありません・よくない Past Positive・よかったです・よかった Past Negative・よくありませんでした・よくなかった 「かっこいい・cool」also follows the same rule as いい!
