Masters of The Universe is a great movie because instead of being like "violence is not the answer" or "if you do this you'll be just as bad as the villain" MOTU shows a pacifist coming to terms with the fact that sometimes people suck so much that the legit answer is to thunder punch a mf
It also has a message about how the use of violence is not to be glorified but it can be necessary to protect people
That there is no shame in being gentle and actually the only type of person that is worthy of power is the person that would not want to use that power against others
And since these were themes that were in the OG show I'd say it did a great fucking job at adapting the source material
