Birthday Wishes || Mike & Avenly
Mike felt like an idiot. He’d wanted to say happy birthday, to give Ave her gift and to leave it at that. To be civil, friends even. He knew he didn’t want to let her out of his life, no matter how badly he’d fucked up. A slight sigh escaped his lips as he placed his phone down, rushing around to quickly clean up his room and adding another tally mark to the chart he was keeping on the wall - just over a month and still going strong. It made him smile slightly, a little bit of pride building up in him.He sat back down on his bed, looking towards the door every now and again, waiting for Ave to show up.
Ave was worried the entire time she made her way to Mike's dorm. She had gotten over him, or at least she thought she had. It was painful, thinking about him missing her, for she had missed him terribly. However she knew that it was safer for her and her baby, the little secret no one knew about but her, for now. Arriving at the door she had a small seed of regret growing, she had to stay strong, and she hat to resist. She knew that she would easily melt if she let her guard down, it was just the effect he had on her. Standing outside the door she took a few breaths before knocking loudly.Â
