Birthday Wishes || Mike & Avenly
Ave was worried the entire time she made her way to Mike’s dorm. She had gotten over him, or at least she thought she had. It was painful, thinking about him missing her, for she had missed him terribly. However she knew that it was safer for her and her baby, the little secret no one knew about but her, for now. Arriving at the door she had a small seed of regret growing, she had to stay strong, and she hat to resist. She knew that she would easily melt if she let her guard down, it was just the effect he had on her. Standing outside the door she took a few breaths before knocking loudly.
Mike had missed her, he wouldn't lie about that. However, he still knew that there was a very real chance that nothing would work out between them again; and knew that he regretted everything he'd put her through. Whether or not they'd work it out, he knew he had to apologise, even if it was for some peace of mind, to try and ease his guilt a little. His head snapped up as he heard the knock at the door and he got to his feet, fixing his shirt and running his fingers through his hair before walking over to open the door. "Hey.." Mike murmured, looking down at her with a small smile. "Happy birthday... Do you wanna come in?" He asked, stepping back from the door a little and gesturing into his room.
