“I so thought I was gonna have to murder you.” Gemma said with a laugh before she sipped her mimosa. “He did wind up pulling me close for a dance though after you went for a refill.” She then mumbled as she focused on her food.
Daisy’s head fell backwards as she let out a deep, genuine laugh. “You’re welcome,” she teased with a smile, grabbing her own mimosa for a sip. Brunch the morning after a wedding was a no-brainer after all, and chicken and waffles were practically Daisy’s love language. “Ooooooo, see, I told ya it was a good idea for me to leave ya. How was it? Romantic?”
