{01. The gates are open now}
How could this even be true? Having such words to admit that he was infected with something and even that he would never see the people that he knew outside of this hospital ever again. As much as that would pain another person, it seemed that just this one mishap was all he needed to atone for everything he did to his elder brother. Ah yes, he had spoke his own sentences, of wanting to have his existence erased by no one else but Glen but it seemed, if he was locked away in this hell of a hole and without his brother being located here as well. Things seemed to be looking rather better.
He held no complaints, and better yet he would not complain about it. Now all he had to do was go along with the farce that his body was containing some disease. It was laughable because he didn’t believe it, he couldn’t believe half of the things within the facility. His eyes had laid onto new things such as that machine within his bedroom and would click on with a button, that wasn’t something he was fond of. First of all, the time period must have shifted once more; nothing was the same as his home of old.
Yet the question was still placed on the field and no one spoke of it’s answer, why was everyone even here. They all knew and maybe some of them could prove, that nothing was wrong with their person. Why would people bring them all together here, by the looks of the hospital, it was easy to tell that they did give treatments but one could only wonder what kind. Surely this establishment held no casual doings to the patients and even something felt off rather.
Though as the Nightray was lost in thought had he allowed his eyes to lower to the ground and only think. Why would someone go as to far as of doing such a thing as this, what was it that they wanted? Personally, he could look into this by himself but as he raised his eyes twas when he saw someone else, a female donned in a red dress. It was easy to tell that curiosity plagued her but what caught Vincent off the most was the variation of her hues. Crimson as his one, but both hers held that unlucky luster of a color.
The male was hardly shocked and what reason should he be? What an encounter, he could tell that he wasn’t off on the guess of why her eyes donned such a deep hue and yet— he was slightly astounded of how this could be. Could it had been a trick of the mind, only to toy with him? Possibly, he was in a hospital and Doctor’s were the first of his encounter, who knows what type of drugs they had slipped into him. But with a casual smile had he spoke, “Mind if I have a word?”
Lacie's eyes finally fixated position on the man standing before her not so far away, a clever smile and a rather beautiful face, she must admit he was quite charming, oh, and that smile he let show as he directed himself to her. All the qualities a new toy could ever have. But if all of this wasn't good already the realisation of the colour of his eyes brought a smile to the Baskerville.
Her lips parted as she spoke softly "My dear..." a pause, she did not know the meaning of the word 'limit' and she didn't intend to figure it out now. "Those eyes you have on you are stunning."
The easy going way was always Lacie's way, after all, he seemed as lost as she was and quite honestly to all that was about to happen which would never really preoccupy her, as for facing death again is not really a challenge anymore, for she had died by the hands of her beloved brother. Anything that could possibly happen in this city would be nothing but a play. One to enjoy at fullest, the question was, would she be all alone loving this new world?
She picked up the sides of her dress to ease the walk to the unknown and yet familiar man. It was quite amusing to run into another child of misfortune, after all, the Baskervilles gathered them all, for the sacrificing to the Abyss. The warmth of the autumn evening as the breeze caressed her cheeks, how much she had forgotten the feeling of being alive. Like this, with no preoccupations just like when she would run away from the Baskerville manor. Whichever the purpose of being in this place, of getting involved in new tragedies, any force that managed to drag her into this chaotic and beautiful new scenario deserved to be taken a taste of.
As her feet finally guide her to a short distance, her head positioned for a better view of the one who was taller, a quite charming smile was shown.
"Do speak to me."
