This is what Marie wants most in the world. Love. The problem is that she wants it so bad, that she may never find it.

This is Marie's favorite song, and she wants a love like this. She wants someone to kiss her in the rain and make her feel like she's in a romantic fairytale. 

22-Taylor Swift

We're happy, free, confused, and lonely at the same time. Its miserable and magical.

Although young Marie is not yet 22, she can totally relate to this song. Late nights, mixed emotions, not knowing what she's doing with her life. 

Fresh Pair of Eyes-Brooke Waggoner

I want to be seen with a fresh pair of eyes.

Marie wants someone to see her with no bias. Yes she's a pretty blonde, but there is more to her than that. She wants someone to see her for who she really is.

Glam-Christina Aguilera 

Blush on, lashes long, mascara strong. Lips, eyes, cheeks, face, give it style grace...Let's get glam.

This song is all about makeup and fashion, which are Marie's two favorite things. She would love to design fashion for the run way, or even walk on the run way herself. There's nothing she enjoys more than a good outfit and getting dolled up.

The French are glad to die for love...But square cut or pear shaped these rocks don't lose their shape, diamonds are a girl's best friend.

Marie can be superficial and materialistic, and she accepts that. Though she wants love, she looooves diamonds as well.

Uptown girl, she's been living in her uptown world. I bet she's never had a backstreet guy. I bet her momma never told her why.

Marie grew up in a wealthy high class home. She never knew anything outside of that. Because of this, she is intrigued by dark mysterious men, but her mother would never commend that.

She's so pretty, and she's so sure. Maybe i'm more clever than a girl like her. The summer's all in bloom. The summer's ending soon. It's alright, and it's nice not to feel so alone...maybe I'm a little bit over my head. I come undone at the things he said.

Marie wants her life to mean something, she wants to remember the people around her and feel alive. Sometimes she can be quite innocent and naive, and one day that may get her hurt, but she cares very deeply for the people she loves.

All I want is the wind in my hair to face the fear but not feel scared. Wild horses I want to be like you. Throwing caution to the wind I run free too. Wish I could recklessly love like I'm longing to.

Marie craves for excitement and adventure, despite being a bit of a pansy. Once again, she wants to feel alive, and not caged in by her fears.

Marie feels like a lot of people doubt her in the sense they think she's just a basic blonde. But she's much more than that. She's intelligent and determined (despite having some basic tendencies) and she is ready to prove them wrong.

And I am helpless sometimes, wishing's just no good, cause you don't see me like I wish you would...There's a moment to seize every time that we meet, but you always keep passing me by.

Anytime Marie is interested in someone, the feeling is never mutual. Even when it is, it seems to crumple. She feels strongly that she would make a good partner, she just can't find the right one. Ellie cover because she is one of Marie's favorite singers.

Another song that shows Marie's longing for romance. However this one is more of an old fashioned song, and Marie does enjoy classic things from time to time. So she's a bit of cliche hopeless romantic.

Only rainbows after rain, the sun will always come again...But you gotta keep your head up, and you can let your hair down.

Even in the worst situations, Marie remains positive. Sometimes she feels down, but she tries to look at the bright side and strives to do the same for her friends as well.

Marie has traveled around a bit, but she has not yet seen everything that the world has to offer. She wants to experience everything, and she wants to know why she is here.

If he hadn’t been so used to keeping his eyes on the source of the danger, he might have rolled his eyes at her. Was she really wasting time to ask stupid questions? “It’s big, strong, and probably hungry. Of the two of us, only one of us is armed which means that the idiot behind me should move so I can follow after!” Of course he was stuck in a fucking cave when this happened. None of the electronics here were strong enough to survive the surge that would occur if he tried to draw power and there was no other energy source to draw from. Well, except himself but that was a shitty place to draw it in a fight and chancy at best. Settling into a fighter’s crouch, he waited to hear the sound of the girl’s footsteps moving away as he searched the darkness for the source of the growling.

Biting her lip, Marie nodded and continued to back up. Would running startle the thing? Make it angry? He seemed to know what he was talking about, so Marie took his word for it. "O-okay..sorry." Marie took a deep breath before turning around and running toward what she thougt was the entrance of the cave. Noticing that she didn't hear any footsteps behind her, she stopped and turned around. "Jim..." she chirped nervously. Marie bit her lip and waited for a response, not wanting to leave him there to be eaten by whatever monster might be in there.

"And you speak it wonderfully, mon fleur!" Lumiere exclaimed, winking at her. "I was born and raised in Paris, before officially moving to Andalasia. How about you? You have the beauty of a french lady, but I’m only assuming."

Nodding her head in gratitude, Marie smiled when he mentioned being from Paris, and she looked down and blushed at his next comment. She let out a little giggle, "Thank you, and your assumption is correct." Looking back up at him, she continued, "I'm actually from Paris as well. Small world, huh.."

This didn’t make sense. This knife was good quality, people didn’t just leave that kind of thing lying around and it was too big to have fallen out of its sheath accidentally. Unless…glancing at the claw marks, he paused. The knife wasn’t rusty so it couldn’t have been there long. As he opened his mouth to say something he heard a low growl fill the cave. Looks like they had company. Wrapping the knife quickly, he shoved it in his waistband where it would be out of the way but easily reachable. “Marie, get out. Now. I’ll cover you, but you need to run.” As he spoke, he quickly unsheathed both wrist knives he wore, holding them ready to throw. He did not want to get in arms reach of whatever made those scratches in stone.

The cave became s bit quiet for a moment, until Marie heard an odd sound. Lifting her eyes from her book again, she glanced around. She looked over to Jim, about to ask if he had heard it too, but he beat her to it. Quickly placing her book in her purse, she frowned and asked, "What is it?" and began to back out slowly. Finally, she saw what he had been staring at, "Do you think..." she began before hearing another growl, slightly louder this time. Her eyes widened a little, and she shifted her bag to her shoulder, "Well aren't you going to come too?"

"It’s a pleasure, mon dam  Marie,” Lumiere said, still looking at the girl directly. “You’re very observing, I see. I do speak French. I was born with it, you could say!”

"Sometimes," Marie admitted with a smile. "Are you from France?" she asked. "Je parle francais aussi," she grinned, leaning back on her elbows.

"The line between those two things is pretty small. Remember? Dragon?" He ignored her comment about reading and continued to study the claw marks. They were…big. Uncomfortably big. And he wasn’t good enough with wildlife or stone to figure out how old they were. On the ground he caught a glimpse of a slight shimmer and picked up a large unsheathed hunting knife. Hunting around, he found a cloth he could wrap it in to protect it slightly. "Fucking hunters. Come in and leave their shit where anyone could pick it up and get hurt by it."

Raising her eyebrows, Marie replied, "Well, I've been in here for about..." she looked down and checked her watch, "about half an hour now, and no dragon. So..." she shrugged and opened her book. Still listening, she pursed her lips, "That's people for you. We're a species who have started to care about no one but ourselves. And we're all guilty of it from time to time." She was still curious about what he found, but didn't want to ask again.

With his back facing her, he figured it was safe to roll his eyes. Of course she was one of those stubborn ‘adventure’ types. Not that he wasn’t, but that wasn’t the point. “If you want excitement, go down to the lake and insult a mermaid. Then see how long they let you live. It’s a blast.” He picked a can out of his pathway and walked farther in, slightly distracted by the sight of large claw marks on the wall but trying to ignore them.

"I said I wanted something exciting to happen, not a death wish," Mare stated. He seemed to be tiring of her around, at least in Marie's mind. She sighed and stopped walking. "Well, if you don't mind, this cave is a lot more quiet and peaceful than I anticipated, so I'm going to sit here and read. Sorry for bothering you." She sat with her back against the cave wall and pulled out her book and a little book lamp from her purse. After a moment, she looked up and saw him looking at something curiously. "What did you find there?"

"You said it, not me." Not that Jim was the ‘brightest crayon in the box’ but he didn’t go looking for fantastical creatures. He had better things to do with his time. Which included not talking to her. "Have fun with your search." He turned his back on her and started walking farther into the cave, trying to see if he could spot something worth salvaging.

Marie frowned, and followed behind him. "Look, sorry, but I'm coming in here too. I'm not looking for any items like you are, but I came in this cave to find something amazing. Good or bad, I don't know, but almost the whole summer has past and I have not experienced anything that exciting, so I am searching this cave for something to excite me." She looked at him matter of factly, a little worried she was too annoying, but she was finding her excitement.

"Perfection." She bit her lip and began waving her fingers around in the air. This was her first time trying something like this, so she had no idea how well it would turn out. After a good five minutes she was satisfied with her creation; a small kitten made out of pure white light. She sighed and sat down in the grass, tucking her hair away and motioning for Marie to come closer. "Surprise."

Marie watched as Mary Ann manipulated her light around. After a few moments, she walked her icee to a trashcan and came back to sit down in front of her friend. Tilting her head, the blonde crawled a little closer and let out a quiet gasp. "Oh my God. That is amazing. How did you-will it move? Like Lou's animations. Or does it just look really awesome? Either one is just...wow."

"No one ever needs a present.” She winked to her friend and rolled her sleeves up, holding her arms in the air as if poised to pluck strings out of the air. “Name your favorite animal.”

Marie looked at her friend with much confusion and tucked some hair behind her ears. "Um..I like kittens," she replied.

I am really jealous. Back home, I would see tourists on them, but I didn't want my friends to judge me, so I never tried to ride one, but I always thought they seemed so fun!

"Aw, but you’re so pretty already. Come on, I’ll light the way." Mary Ann grinned and offered her hand up to her friend. "If you’ll just follow me Madam," she produced a small trail of lights for them to follow, "I’ll show you the way home."

"Oh stop," Marie smiled, following Mary Ann. "You're the best, thanks." Still in awe of her lights, she followed Mary Ann, her eyes keen on the glowing orbs. "Still so cool," she muttered.

She bit her lip to keep her giggles inside. She never knew Marie could act so dramatic. “Well, how about a small present?”

Maries pout became more dramatic as she sensed Mary Ann trying to stifle a laugh. Furrowing her eyebrows, she asked, "A present? Why? No, I don't need a present."

At the mention of Harry Potter he almost smiled, but he kept it to himself. It’s not like he was going to broadcast the fact that he’d seen the movies. “Whatever you say. Not too much to trouble a unicorn here I’d think, but you’re the expert.” It was kinda dumb, but no point in saying that. “Well, now you know better.”

Marie sighed, and smiled a little, feeling a little lectured, but not letting it bother her. "I',m no expert, I've never seen one. I just really want to. Maybe they're antisocial or something, so they hide. I don't know, I just thought it wouldn't hurt to look." She paused, running her hands down the end of her hair, "But then I mentioned dragons, and you're right." She looked at him a bit sheepishly, "I'm not always the brightest crayon in the box."
