"b-but water is soooo boring! come on nowww~" She said handing her the whiskey!"Nice to meet you Kairi! I’m Mary Ann!" She rambled drunkly.
"But I think it would really help you." She bit her lip at the girl's mistake, trying to keep her laughter in check. She was definitely going to cut her off. "It's very nice to meet you too Mary Ann."

Ursula shrugs. “People seem to think it’s their job to fix that and I don’t really know if I want that,” she sighed. At her question she just shrugged again for a moment, petting her dog, who was shifting to lay on his side. “Do whatever you want.. but before you do whatever, turn on the Labyrinth. I love that movie.”
"Then why don't you tell them so?" Mary Ann bit her lip and walked over to the media system, trying to find Ursula's movie. Thankfully, it was close to the player so it was in the tray and warming up within seconds. "Have you eaten anything today?"
Oh, not too far but far enough.
Oh. Mysterious. {Giggling, Mary Ann shoved her hands into her pockets.} So um. . . how's your girlfriend? I heard she got checked out of the hospital?
Seriously?
Adam smiled at the little redhead. “So, time for drinks then?” He walked over to the bar and got them both their first drinks. “Here to not drinking too much.” He raised his glass towards Maryann’s.
Accepting her own glass, she raised hers to meet Adam's. "Cheers! Thank you Adam."

"Nice ta meet you too Mary Ann. Mind if I call you Mary? Or is there some other nickname you go by?" He smirked to himself as he watched her blush and he shook his head. "No problem. It’s true, after all."
"No Mary is perfectly alright. . . you can really call me just about anything and I'd be happy with it." Grinning to herself, she dared a glance up and widened her smile when her eyes met his. "You're very kind. Thank you Lock."
Seriously?
"So let's promise not to let the other drink too much." He didn't want to cause a big scene in a place that he wasn't familiar with.
Nodding along to Adam's decision, Mary Ann smiled and thought it over. "That's probably the best choice, thanks Adam."

“I see no problem in asking a simple question if it doesn’t cross the lines. Though, my lines are quite blurred, if I’m being truthful.” Ursula sighed and opened her eyes. Still nothing but jumbly dark colours. “People don’t peg me as a relationship person and they are… Right. So it wouldn’t and doesn’t bother me.”
"Alright well that's. . . helpful. And if you aren't into relationships, that shouldn't be anyone else's concern but your own. So." Mary Ann leaned back to survey her work, noting both cheeks and any lingering cuts that were untreated. "Can I do anything else for you Ursula? Or would you rather I just leave?"
Turns out I hate business trips as much as business meetings. Go figure.
Well there must have been positive. Where did you travel to?

Andy smiles at the girl softly. “I’m not the best singer…but I try….I'm more of a shower rockstar.”
Mary Ann giggled and shrugged her shoulders at Andy's reply. "I think you're very good, but that's just my opinion. Maybe you should branch out more beyond the whole bathroom gig?"

"Drinkiiinnnnn~ wanna dirnnk wiff me pretty ladyy!?"
Sliding closer to the girl, Mary Ann gently took hold of the bottle and tried to tug it out of her hands. "I'd love a drink. . . but I think it'd be a great idea if we chose water instead of whiskey. I'm Mary Ann."

“Yeah. Uh.. well, I do assume maybe if I try hard enough she’ll be like me and vice versa, but she’s adopted,” she chuckled a little. “I don’t really… like boys very much. So even if she had a Dad, it’s still just me. He’d probably be long gone after spending one night with me, let alone his entire life.”
Mary Ann quickly bit her tongue, worried that her simple question would bring anger and outrage. Instead, Ursula answered her question like a saint, not trying to belittle Mary Ann in the slightest or make her feel bad. "I'm so sorry I asked Ursula. I had no right. . . I shouldn't have said anything. But if I may make one small comment though; anybody who decides to leave you after one night isn't worth your time. Because you are too amazing to waste even a moment more with them. In my opinion."

"Are you ok?" Mary Ann asked, watching the young lady struggle with the top.

"I had no idea you were a singer."

“Mmhm,” she hummed, smiling a little. “Her name’s Kairi. Maybe you’ll meet her someday.” Ursula let her do what she was doing, kind of not liking the idea of being alone, but it was probably for the best. “Okay. That’s fine.”
"Kairi. . . that's a beautiful name. Does she look more like you, or the father?" Mary Ann leaned back to the table, stealing another dab of cream so she could start on the next cheek.
Seriously?
Adam looked at Maryann and laughed. "What kind of drunk am I? Well, I already like to people watch, so I either just sit and watch people be dumb, or I'm one of those meatheads that does inappropriate things. Just depends on how drunk I am I guess."
Cracking up at her friend's honesty, Mary Ann buried her head in her hands. "The two people that don't seem to look for much attention will cause the biggest spectacle the moment they have too many drinks. I love it!"
Seriously?
Adam couldn't help but laugh. "So if you want a fourth drink, buy one for everyone. Got it." He grinned. "Totally kidding. However seeing you start a bar fight might be kind of funny. You're so cute and little."
"You're so helpful Adam. Has anyone ever told you that before?" Pursing her lips, Mary Ann tried to hold back a laugh at his remarks. "From what I've been told, if someone is wildly inappropriate I'll walk over and throw the first punch. Then I kinda get a crowd of people dragging me away. . . I've only ever been in one real fight, and I think I got my ass handed to me. It's not an experience I want repeated." She grinned and traced the pattern on the table. "What about you? What kind of drunk are you?"

“He tends to be annoyed with everyone’s presence unless it’s Eris or my daughter,” she said quietly. “It doesn’t hurt. It doesn’t matter,” Ursula trailed off slowly, opening her eyes and sighing.
"Your daughter?" Mary Ann grinned at the news and continued her application, trying to make sure she reached all the cuts before moving to the other cheek. "After I get through with this I'll leave you in peace, I promise. You deserve some rest."
