A Hair study in graphite pencils ... Drawn from an Unsplash photo from Aegean wedding Photography ... I used simple graphite pencils: 6H initially and switched to a HB fairly quickly, shadows are with a 2B ... a kneadable eraser and my Tombow mono eraser of which I have two a black and a white and I worked on Fabriano Bristol 250 GSM paper... And I filmed my process, which can come over as very chaotic but it works for me... I draw, I look and if I don't like it I erase and I try again ... I go forward and I go back and revisit ... for me it's a simple process which I use more or less in every drawing or artwork ... It took me about 9 hours over multiple days to complete and reduced it to a 10 minute IGTV video ... yeah that was the real challenge 😀 ... for whom who actually watched it: sorry for all the hair shots but it is what it is ... For someone who said at the end of 2017: no I really can't draw, never going to happen, simple things but that's it ... I so proved me wrong and it still amazes me every single drawing what I actually can accomplish... my art journey is a very emotional one to say the least ... .
