I think Petunia might be getting a little senile. She’s started crying at night after I go to bed. I’m not convinced it’s actually because I’m in bed but because most of the other cats follow me to bed and it leaves her all alone in the living room. Bug usually goes to check on her and then she stops. I’ve been trying to convince her to come sleep in bed with me though to fix her confusion and loneliness but it’s not been going well.
#petunia#I also think she seems more playful? and she’s started yowling after she ‘catches’ her toys#she also cries for more food after meals which she never used to do#I did take her in for bloodwork today just to make sure I’m not missing something#but also she was an older lady when I got her almost 6 years ago#so I do really just suspect cognitive decline
