We finally got to Rogue Nation, which is pretty good! I have a sinus cold cough, some salty language, otherwise fine. We discuss how Ethan Hunt is the only real person in this series and everyone else are but pale shadows cast by his form.

Coming out of left field is Brad Bird's Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol which is ...good? Like kind of really good? John and Syd discuss the shift into a character and humor-based movie and apologize for having nothing to say other then "It's fun go watch it."
Mission: Impossible 3! A movie one of us actually kinda liked a little! John and Syd talk up the frequently director-changed M:I 3 and ask, what is the bare minimum you can do and still have it work?
Mission Impossible 2 : Revenge Of The Woo! John and Syd discuss John Woo's bloated nu-metal train wreck that is the sequel to Impossible Impossible. Topics include Louisiana folk music, self-insert filmed fanfiction, and sex fighting. Also includes some mumbly mic issues.
Mission Impossible or "Brian De Palma directed this?!" John and Syd discuss the surprisingly tight and retro thriller and what rebooting Mission Impossible for the 90s meant. Also discussed: Vanessa Redgrave, when is a twist not a twist, and computers, are they magic?
We have some mic issues in the second half and I come out a bit mumbly. Mic problems are a ...reoccurring problem as we work out the best recording place in my living room.
