Can I just point out how Sooyoung is actually good with kids. Gilyoung forgives her and jokes around with her in good humor same with Yoosung. And her taking care of Yoo Mia after Joonghyuk goes to space. She works as professor in college. Her students loves her. I just like how well-adjusted she is despite bs she been through. It such testament of the cycle ending with her despite growing up not having good adult role models. She is rough in the edges but overall a reliable adult. What more can you say.

deeply unhealthily obsessed with how han sooyoung spends over half her life chasing after someone she loves, only to forget and to not know him when she meets him again, and then to lose him again, to only know him more fully after he's gone, and chase him, again and again and again. they're always meeting and parting and only really knowing each other in the other's absence. han sooyoung is always clawing back towards something she lost before she had the chance to truly know it. when i say doksoo is doomed this is what i fucking mean. the love of an author for her sole reader that was so strong that she would damn every universe for his survival and still neither of them would ever get to meet each other in their entirety
