So this happened today .......
Still going strong 💪🏼
Ive really enjoyed some of the meals I’ve had lately and I’ve found being accountable for what I eat quite a positive experience. Power to me!
When you have 95 days to your wedding and are planning sensible meals which will be fine but nothing amazing, then you find this 219 calorie taste sensation and feel like you’ve won the lottery 🥳
Five days dieting done, I must be nearly thin. 😂
Here we go again!
Well it’s the new year, new me guff! The diet starts again craic. But really, it is now 98 days to my wedding. The wedding I was going to lose all this weight for, transform body and mind and ... well, I haven’t. So here’s to a last ditch effort. Fingers crossed 🤞
Swim no.2
Few more lengths this time, 8 x 2 lengths making 16! See that, maths genius!
Had an early start, swam, did my usual day stuff and now I’m ready to hit the sack.
Dining alfresco
NSV #1: swim pass purchased and first swim completed ✅
I’ve been telling myself since the start of last week that I would get a month swim pass and try to get into a regular routine. Then I was busy..... oh no, I couldn’t find my swimwear after our house move...... I mean, I didn’t want to get up early enough to fit it in before other commitments.......I was on my way when the plumber called...... and eventually, 11 days later, I’ve stopped with excuses and just did it!
Considering the inner turmoil getting there caused me, the whole thing was remarkable uneventful. In fact I would go as far as to say it was pleasant.
No one questioned why I was there, no one was offended by my swim bod (or at least not openly) and I didn’t fall over, drown or get tangled in my costume and trip naked through the curtain. To be honest, there wasn’t a curtain, it’s not the eighties any more!
So all in all, it went well and I’m chuffed with myself. 12 lengths swam in six lots of 2 and some contortion to get my swimwear off means I got a little exercise and things can only get better.

Shake for breakfast, shake for lunch and tea was a beautiful chicken breast in Mexican spices, jacket potato and a side salad - the multi-coloured, looks amazing, brightens up the plate type of salad! 🍗 🥔 🥗 Snuck a chocolate covered biscuit in too, I’m only human! But overall, feeling kind of pleased with myself.

Today two shakes and a healthy meal, tomorrow a months unlimited swim pass 🏊♂️, and then....... maybe the world 🌎!!!

Today I had shakes for breakfast and dinner then chicken, jacket potato and salad for tea. Day 1 ✅
Goodbye 1st half stone!
Really pleased to have kept on track finally and be seeing rewards. I’ve been loving salads with pickled cabbage and onion, really felt like spring. Now I just have to keep it up and plug away.

Went out today for a carvery and loaded up on healthy veg. Kept my syns in check and resisted the ice cream sundaes and cake that everyone else sampled. Tonight we had salmon salad for tea and I’m feeling good. 👼🏼
