I’m scared people are gonna hate me when I tell people I like both the books and movies. I’m scared they’re going to send me messagings and anonymous asks to tell me to kill myself or that I should die or tell me to pick one. I don’t want any of those things to happen. I know this message all sounds every stupid to you probably.

Fam if anyone tells you that you are anything other than Valid i’ll fight them. I do think you might be worrying and overthinking a little too much, though, but that’s okay because I know I do that too sometimes. I’ve never known people in this fandom to get anywhere near that nasty, so I think you should be alright.

Personally, I kinda liked the movie. Sure, if you only look at it in comparison to the books, it did suck, but if you think about it as a stand alone movie, it really wasn’t that bad. Not groundbreaking or anything, but not bad. The actors were great and the whole aesthetic felt right.

Am I the only one who finds Miss Peregrine Attractive, not just because she was played by Eva Green (okay a little because of that because Eva Green is very attractive) but her personality hot damn. No just me? Okay… I’ve honestly written some very self indulgent fan fiction…I’ll just leave it at that.

Don’t worry, we all thought Eva Green was pretty hot. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar.

I also hope that next time, you bring enough fanfiction to share with the rest of the class because sharing is caring.

I think it's really upsetting how everyone obsesses over movie Enoch a lot of the time the older book guys get no real love directed toward them

I feel. It’s all because they made him a #hot #edgy #brooding overdone male character type that people are weak for. Like don’t get me wrong, I can appreciate myself some hot, edgy, brooding male characters (if anyone has read the Galahad series, the amount of times they repeated the word ‘brooding’ when talking about Bon should have been straight up criminal), but it is kinda shitty how they just did it to appeal to audiences and didn’t even try to stay true to his character in the books.

Dude, i ship jacob and millard. I can just imagine jacob comforting millard when he doesn't like his peculiarity (my hc that he does). But theres no jacob and millard fanfiction 😔, ill probably write some millardXjacob. And whats the ship name? Millcob? Jacard?

I mean in the second books he states that he loves his peculiarity and it’s part a part of who he is but alrighty friendo

Also I have only see one fic and it is filled with sin and made me laugh but also scream because it was so uncomfy to read because they are children boi stop. I know other people shipped it though when the fandom was smol like when I first started this blog and people called it Jillard

But yeah dude friends are perfectly capable of being mean. Friends can be total assholes but you’re still friends with them out of convenience or something. Frankly, I don’t think it was that bad with Jacob and Ricky, especially considering how little we saw of them, but it’s not hard for friends to be mean.

I have another blog with two mphfpc OCs, a boy and girl half-siblings, but they are Very Dark so we don’t talk about them much. 

There’s also Teddy who can and will straight up mess with your dreams because it amuses them. They are also very much your 60′s hippie who is into kick backs and casually doing hallucinogenics like where are their parents. They don’t have a blog because I never really fully fleshed them out (which is part of why i have no clue where their parents are) but I love them anyway even though they make questionable choices.

i've been thinking about an animal shapeshifting peculiarity but idk how to go about it, especially whether or not if being able to turn into a bird is an option because ya know ymbrynes are the ones able to do that lol

Dude that’d be so rad! I do get what you mean about turning into a bird, though. I think as long as it’s shapeshifting into all animals and not like just into a bird then you should be alright.

Plus, you can always do something kinda funny like someone else being like someone being like “you can shapeshift into a bird too?! that’s sick!” and the person with it being like “fuck no heights terrify me” because there’s no real reason why they shouldn’t be able to turn into a bird, but then like you don’t have them turning into one all the time and it puts that little cushion between them and ymbrynes.

Yeah I can understand what you mean. I think you just need to try stepping back and thinking of her as her own character, separate from her relationships and just how she is by herself, if that makes any sense, and it might help ??

I wouldn’t doubt there is if you look through like tags on people’s blogs but like that’s a lot of work. You can always suggest it to people who write fan fics, or hell even write it yourself if you’re up to it.

The book is definitely far better than the movie but in the movie I developed feelings for the actor of Enoch “Finlay Macmillan” and its turned into an unhealthy obsession.

People who mess with the sexualities and traits of the characters really annoy me. Why cant they just take them the way they were written?

Because they’re allowed to do whatever the hell they want, my guy, and most of the characters aren’t written with any particular sexuality. Emma and Fiona like guys, Hugh likes girls, and Millard at least is aesthetically attracted to them, but they could also like literally every other gender out there but we don’t know because that’s not the focus of the story (which could bring up a whole other story about the mentioning of sexuality in literature) so I don’t see why you care???

Like let people live, none of this is real, it’s literally a book series and I enjoy it and all but it’s not that big of a deal. If you want to make content that’s cishet or whatever you imagine them as, then by all means go for it because I’m sure people will enjoy it.

Like the actress who played Emma? Because if so I feel. Ella Purnell is really pretty. I wasn’t too big on her at first but she did grow on me.
