Honestly God is just so kind. He is so patient. I’m always amazed that He waits for me, and never with a sense of condemnation. Or that I’m not enough or doing enough. Even in the low times where I try to hide, His love pursues me. And actively.

So if you are hurting or feeling distant from God, please don’t feel like you’ve let Him down. He is so kind, and all He wants is for you to come home. God isn’t angry at you for finding things hard, in fact, when it’s hard that’s when He wants to be the closest. So come home.

We can look back at the past 365days and think that it has gone too fast, that we could have done differently, better. But I think God wants us to look forward to the next day, to every new start he gives us. He gives us more chances every sunrise. The end has not come yet. The best is coming. #happynewyear
