‘ Yeah, y’kinda were. ’ She pretends to look huffy but the effect is ruined, as it always is, by the hints of a smile desperately tugging at the corners off her lips like it just had to break out. ‘ But it’s okay, I’m cool with being a human pillow ’, says Mio, with a genuine enthusiasm and not a hint of sarcasm,  ‘ You just like taking naps? Or are you actually super sleepy? Because, even if I don’t mind it, I think a bed might just be a lil’ better. ’

  ‘ --  oh !! ‘ shock passes over features, hands moving to cover agape mouth. followed by a stream of laughter, still muffled behind clasped hands.   ‘   -- i’m so sorry i must have just  -- ‘ well it’s obvious what she did. she fell asleep. ‘ i can’t say i’m not partial to naps, but i’ve just been so overworked as of late in the lab my professor just isn’t giving me a break --’ an embarrassed smile covers her features as she realised she’s waffled just a bit. ‘ though, aha, your shoulder and head is really soft. just like a bed, really. ‘ a pause, ‘ that’s a compliment by the way.’

Nevertheless, she was confused as to how a train could be sneaky. It wasn’t like it could hide so easily. A train was a train. “– Would you like me to show you the way?”

 ‘ mmm- byunmaru can be extremely stealthy. when there’s trains to blend in with. obviously, a train running down the highway isn’t very discrete -- ‘  she further explains, though, she thought her initial statement was clear enough.  ‘ -- it’s not exactly stealthy you could argue, but -- discrete ! well, more discrete than a dog. or a dragon. or a red human the size of a building.  it can shroud it’s appearance to be completely normal !! ‘ just as you should expect from a ninja train.  the movement of her ponytail emphasises the nodding of her head, a brilliantly beaming smile marks her features, eyes glistening with engineering curiousity. ‘ if you wouldn’t mind ! i wouldn’t want to distract you from your .. ah .. job ?’

‘ ... okay, calm down team rocket.      you do that and an ash ketchum is going to come along and blast you off. i think, i never actually watched pokemon.   i’m going to import my beloved scyther into this game JUST to kick his ass.   i’m going to destroy those virtual pixels in the name of my gyrados !! gone but never forgotten !! ‘

    “𝓘t’s not a costume…!” Calvin felt a tad insulted when the woman asked about his suit. There were tons of people who rolled their eyes at the Rangers. But he had yet to encounter one, until now. “Well, it kind of is? But I didn’t sew it. Nor did I buy it! – Or stole it for that matter.” He paused for a short moment, trying to think of the correct sort of wording to use. “It’s called being chosen to be a Power Ranger. I can prove it if you like.”

 ‘ aa! i got it !   it’s a cosplay, right ?? ‘ hands press together, a smile beaming on her face -- a clear sign of no ill intention, or aggression in her otherwise overly cool tone. ‘ mm -- i’ve never heard of that --’ a pause, tongue pushing to the edge of her mouth as she sounded the unfamiliar words on her tongue. ‘pow -- power -- powerful ranger!! it’s a cute nickname !! not very ninja like though. hmm. ninninger sure is the better name.’   words end with a slight nod of her head, indicative of the odd thought pattern of the intellectual. ‘ -- what do you have to prove though ? ‘      even an intellectual could be as thick headed as that, the words completely lost on her.

   saevi stares, violet eyes wide and curious before she nods. ❝ ohhh bleh. nutrition ALWAYS seems to ruin things here. ❞ CAREFULLY, small fingers unwrap the sweet before once more she pops it into her mouth, sans the wrapper. a GASP of satisfaction as a pigtailed head nods.❝ yes, this is definitely much better. ❞ 

      ‘ WELL. i mean technically. fibre isn’t nutritious, it just aids with digestion. it could be argued that the paper might cause injuries within your --  ah‘ hand reaches up to her head after she realises the biological tangent she was going on so she stops her words in their tracks.    a bad habit of hers. or good, depending on what you thought of education.   smile widens slightly, tongue poking out in a slightly playful manner. ‘ i’m glad you like it !! i was worried you were going to critique my choice in sweets ! ‘

   dark eyes blink --    slightly unsure how to say in the nicest way she was eating the paper as well as the sweet ( AND well, that was just a waste of a sweet !! unacceptable. ) ‘ i’m SURE the paper adds some nutritious fiber, but ... have you tried unwrapping it ??? ‘ she offers, cherry lips pulling lightly into a smile -- an attempt to soften her words.
